Random thought: maybe Komatsu's grandpa reincarnated into the turtle and is keeping an eye on her (and obviously approves of a potential grandson-in-law).

@Satansslut669 The series I mentioned are all here on Mangadex, so you can check the manga out first to see if you like them. They're all fluffy slice-of-life stories, come to think of it; only Taisho Otome has some drama in it because of the historical setting.
