I've still got a (probably vain) hope it's going to turn out more complicated than that. One of the things I liked about this series is that while Hiromi has many (somewhat unrealistically) good qualities like most manga protagonists, he's still got flaws, as his relationship with Lily clearly demonstrated. (I loved Fujiko bawling him out with "that's not childish, that's fetus behavior!")

If this really does just end with Nonoka dumping him to go back to her ex, that's disappointing. I know their relationship has to collapse for the sake of maintaining the core share house story, but I kind of wanted to see it break down the way that most relationships break down: because of mutual immaturity or insecurity on the part of both partners, not just one.

Did not expect her ex-fiance literally creeping out of the bushes to ambush her like this. Is this a signal that she's about to get Cold Feet and not follow through with her plans to move in with Hiromi? That'd honestly be more than a little shitty, but I'm betting she still has Anju's words bouncing around in her head, and this guy is the one that she could 'mother' for in a relationship, which seems to be her thing, even if she griped about it.

NGL this isn't wrong, and Anju was sort of a dick and clearly with ulterior motives but she certainly wasn't WRONG

I'm convinced that Hiromi and Nonoka aren't ending up together, so that's the lens I'm interpreting through. But either way it will be interesting to see how exactly it all shakes out.
