She's the same author as DomeKano (Domestic Girlfriend) - tbh was super surprised because the way she wrote domekano made her look like an incel guy in his 30s trying to project himself as the MC lmao.

Pretty refreshing with this one though. I like her way of tackling every day things.

So I've learned, from reading this thread, I was surprised to learn that. Domestic Girlfriend is one of those cases you don't bother check who the author is huh?
Let's hope she has outgrown the internalized misogyny, or at least the editors give her room to do it.
Still, this is a harem manga aimed at men, so I kinda doubt it's going break the mold.

I'm not too big on the "no dating" premise of harem mangas, but Kei if nothing else can write a rollercoaster (take that as you will) so we're here for the shocking revelations

As much as people dislike Kei-sensei previous work, we can't deny she's still better than your average romance writer (and also i think it's unfair using only one of her works to deny her experience)

This "average" depends on how well-read someone is, though.

And Good Ending exists, so others may have two works with which to form opinions of Sasuga Kei's work. Personally, as controversial as DomeKano was I found it to be significantly better than Good Ending. So yeah, I have really low expectations with this series.

Then he fucks one of them, probably the idol, they get mad, then accept it. Then it ends. Nothing changes except he marries the idol.

If it doesn't get axed, he'll take turns fucking them all while they get together and break up dramatically. Eventually settling on the idol.

In either timeline, he never gets a job.

I was not expecting much given that this is an ero harem romcom, but it seems that the girls are well written, which is not weird for Kei-sensei. Now we must worry about the opposite... the MC. So far MC is really just another boring harem protagonist, so I hope he gets some more development and doesn't end up like Good Ending's MC.
