I guess it's safe to assume the room is bugged.

I find it unfortunate that the story is traipsing about, lacking any sense of direction or purpose. That would be all well and good if this manga were mainly SIL, but at least for the moment it seems to me that SIL isn't meant to be the main draw or focus of this manga. I think the lack of clarity surrounding what this manga wants to be is holding it back. Here's to hoping that said clarity is found soon, because I've quite enjoyed Kei Sasuga's prior works, and would love to read some more of her writing at its best.

Plus, I really like all the characters presented here, so it would be nice if the story got some clarity to let them really shine.
It doesn’t have that clarity cause we’re still in the introduction period, being introduced to each character in depth

Sure it’s been a while since it started time wise b it don’t forget we’re only on chapter 11

Also, tf is SIL lol

Oh we gotta ACT LIKE IT ... mission accepted. Now don't get mad if while were acting the tip goes inside. I'm just saying that thigh humping (aka acting like we're having sex) is dangerous and if things get lubricated down there something might just slip in. Trust me ... it happens.

Well, one cannot really work in software development business without at least good knowledge of English - and especially for a multinational corporation.
Myself, I use English way more than Polish, and over time, you learn it by immersion.
Although I have noticed, how "hermetic" can Japan be - quite often I can see, that websites, training materials and such are available in Japanese and English (for the rest of the world).

Tsubasa's gap moe is so delicious. Not to mention she looked incredible in that dress.

Thank you for the translation.

I meant to say slice of life, but for some reason when I was typing, I wrote SIL. No idea why.

What I meant by lack of clarity is that it currently feels like the manga is trying to be somewhere in the middle of Slice of Life, Comedy and Romance/Drama. Whilst that isn't necessarily a bad thing, certain aspects of each genre do not work will with another. For example, whether or not a series is meant to be taken seriously, whether the story is more driving or laid back in pacing and whether or not conflict will occur, along with the intensity of said conflict.

So I didn't mean to say that the story lacks clarity, but that it was unclear what type of story the series is. Having said all that, it is very well possible that I'm just mischaracterizing the manga due to the long gaps in between reading each chapter. If so, then I'll just have to binge read the series once it's finished haha

Kinda detrimental to NOT explain the jig before he entered the house. I mean, i understand she was trying to keep him in the dark until the last moment (least he bailed on her), but that's just cutting it close.

But, damn is she gorgeous in that dress, tho.

I think we are still in the phase of introducing each character's struggle/situation. So far we covered the The Strip Club lady, The Art Student, The Idol, and now The Secretly Rich lady. Through each character, the MC brings the share house closer. The author did show MC's motive of trying to start his own family. Since the story is filled with characters flipping their lives or taking unconventional paths, and making them work, I think the author is trying to portray MC realizing his dream by forming an unconventional family with these women.
Sasuga-sensei has learned the lesson from Domo-Kano and ships: never give your audience a final pairing.

She's going to have him come out of this with all of them and none of them at the same time, and the audience will only have themselves to blame.

Nice, better than my interpretation. I got more of a vibe that there was a theme of change and finding passion going about, and each girl was going to change both through their own will and through the MC (and ofc, the MC will change as well as he hopefully gets out of his jobless gutter).

But when you mention it, it seems like there is already some undertones of familyhood here, both in the forming of an unconventional one (e.g. when Lily first joined the house) and how conventional ones aren't for everyone (again, Lily is burdened by her Dad's sins, and Anju was molested by her stepdad and gaslighted by her mom when she told her). I think we'll see more and more of this as the household gets more famliar.

So why didnt she tell him this before going there? Seems convoluted just to have comedy drama moment.

I agree with this. It seems to be bouncing a bit between those genres you mention. I may sit back and let this one cook a little more and read it when it's finished.
