@cybik those tiny little bits of skipped exposition can have significant impact.
For example, the anime made it look like she just randomly stumbled upon the super secret quest that awards op stuff and just happened to have the exact quest item she needed for it, whereas the manga shows that she was specifically looking for quest triggers and was having trouble finding them, and that the required item was a low-level drop she happened to have because she's a packrat.
It leads to a very different impression. Generally speaking, the anime would trim away most of the little obstacles, making progress look super smooth which for me at least was off-putting. It made her gains feel undeserved. The manga does a lot to fix that.
