Uwah! It got real dark at the beginning, and the author really knows how to change moods in their drawings. It reminds me of Secrets of Wysteria. Also, Char got a detailed face on page 12 instead of being a total moe blob (in the best way). It shook me and it really shows how flexible the mangaka's art gets at times.

Also, Will's really handsome. Whenever a manga points out a guy's broad shoulders and eye bags, it hits the right spots. Plus, he has the shyest smile I've seen in a long time (look at page 16)!! I think the creepy-cute factor the art style has going on made him hot from the get go. The quality of the pages makes it seem more like a doujinshi than a published manga with deadlines.

And that ending page!! It seems like the author is the types to keep you on your toes, edging the cliff. Which is great because the pacing is pretty good so far, and the pay off will likely be worth it (hopefully not too long though!). I wonder if they're like zombie slayers and they're common among people too. Like, we have Char mentioning that resurrection is a grave sin and apparently a lay person like Will can make contracts with the devil??? Maybe there's a tension or an unspoken folk tale about resurrecting the dead and the supernatural. I'm excited to see how the author builds the lore here.

Even if it's not a priority on the "Big List of Things to Translate", this is really fun to read and re-read hehe. I wish I could help speed the progress, but alas, I have no skills. However, I will gladly boost morale by praising the heck out of these releases and following closely

Thanks for the quality translations so far (and to anyone else on the team)! @Kitsunebi
