A few pages made me want to cut this bitch into a million pieces and torture her soul like what you'd see in a chinese protagonist's wet dream, then I realized that the author was just screwing around.

Well played. Didn't really expect that, which is why I fell into the trap. From now on, I won't be tricked in the same way again though since I know this author likes stuff such as this.

Still, it's really too unrealistic in a way. Unless you're retarded, you know how words like this sounds to other people. You'd also stop if you notice they're uncomfortable with it. If someone takes a weapon and tries to defend someone, it's freaking clear that they're misunderstanding your intentions. If she did it on purpose, it's just a dick move, I kind of dislike her even if she meant no harm, her character stereotype is annoying. Also, why would they pay for the spear? He touched it, he didn't break it, unless it was so brittle as to break from being dropped on the floor, something that'd defeat the purpose of it being a weapon. She should also have dispelled the magic effect for free as she was the cause of everything. She did give them stuff like a discount and some trash at the end, but I don't like how she went about doing things. No, sir, I don't.
