If she wasn't even the tiniest bit interested in him she should've left him alone in the first chapters lol

"Wow fucked up of her to reject him" - while she was sitting sobbing over being rejected herself? That was the most disphit possible time to confess to her, this is definitely the guys fault here

Idk, I can definitely see why people are so heavily critical of Aizawa. Her impulsive naivety towards sensei like "just go out with me and everything will just work out" without even once considering consequences and just now in this chapter with Wataru. I get his timing was awful for a confession, but he was genuinely concerned and only received the coldest of responses. Aizawa's severe lack of empathy towards Wataru, who she has been friends with for years is extremely off-putting.

terrible time to confess dude.
that's the time when you sit down, hear her out, give her some support.

that said, Aizawa annoys me. she's so airheaded about the whole thing, and only now stopped to consider the full gravity of everything. not to mention her lying to a friend as close and important as Wataru, that's a massive betrayal.

Everyone's talking about Aizawa. But here I am feeling sad toward the childhood friend who has loved the guy for more than 10 years and he's still ignoring her and chasing false hope. No every single character in this this series chases after false hope. But the childhood friend somehow hits me harder.

@Dradetias She might have hope in the future as long as she deals her cards properly. I don't think Aizawa will suddenly fall in love with him (according to the current situation) but only the mangaka knows what'll happen for certain.

@Arcyse I knew a person who knowingly confessed immediately to a girl after his friend had confessed and was rejected mere moments before by the same girl 🙂 I guess i'm just saying he could be worse lol

That was the dumbest confession ever. I'm rooting for you man... but... come on...

@Dradetias But she had 10 years to get with him... it's only once he got another crush that she properly decided to chase him.

I assume you're aware that women and men can be friends without having to date or be romantically interested in each other, right?

Weird feeling, I like the teacher, and I like the tomboy; and I'm really annoyed by the MC guy and MC girl. Jank alternating pattern going on here.

@unknownfactor Ah yes, friends. The kind where one lies and avoids the other. And, if my interpretation of this chapter is correct, Aizawa knew that Wataru had feelings for her and still responded the way she did. Qualities of a true friend indeed. She's been treating her "friend" pretty poorly if you ask me.

Her leaving him alone may be not necessary, but confiding and being honest certainly would've been more admirable.
