Gotta love the bullying portrayal in this mangas shit‘s flat out assault murder attempts and property damage. Is ts fr how bullying is in Japan y’all ?
Check out korean ones which is like one of the 3 staple themes of manwhas. Those go HARD and have no brakes.

I couldn't tell you how big and intense the problem is in those countries, but the portrayals are so common and practically a given in the medium that it suggests there are some real problems the authors are trying to bring to light.

Not sure about Japan, but bullying was fairly common in Korea while I was there. Their society pretty much runs on being superior compared to others and bullying is one way to assert that "superiority". I've heard similar stories from others in Japan, but I haven't seen it firsthand.

Depend.
In some country, if you're fighting with someone with higher authoirty or higher privilege, even law can be blind and cannot protect the victim.

If school, teacher is unable to act because actually teachers is the lesser authority than anybody else (even student) with lower wages

If you asking "What's wrong", it's the human itself
