kouhai's point is rising above others 2 by how she understand she pushed him too far and be honest with him. at least that's right step.

better than ex-gf who have more chance to apologize to him than kouhai after her "attention seeker act" failed and double down on it the first time she meet him after summer break.

the maid is at worst position to comeback since they only meet at her workplace which MC refused to go there anymore.

but probably gonna meet her again in akiharaba date with kouhai. the normal troupe would be her doing advertise in front of cafe and saw them by chance or something. I doubt MC and kouhai would visit that cafe unless it was kouhai idea to "vist something that senpai probably like"

well, this could be worse. Honestly, the kouhai is shaping up to redeem herself into a wonderful heroine, but I can't into this MC. He's too communicationally retarded for me to want to put up with this series beyond binging it just now. I've read a lot of trashy teen romcoms in my day, but I guess I'm just out of fucks to give for these zero communication-skills aliens that jp writers love to have be their protagonists.

The best girl is the honest one for a change. The MC made some progress here too which is great to see, hopefully he’s on the path of a more balanced approach to how he deals with people going forward.

Next chapter is going back to the maid which we don’t really know anything about yet. Honestly curious to see what their deal was because if he really loved his GF, why was he going there to see the maid in the first place?
Japanese culture surrounding oshi is separate from romantic feelings. Somewhat similar way to how people will have a celebrity they adore, or the way people stan kpop idols. He felt around the maid he could relax and feel better, but her sadist change made him lose that safe space. He definetly had a overreaction to the maid though, and could have told her more calmly about it and never come back to the cafe. Very overdramatized.

I'm liking this so far. Instead of taking the longer route, she decided to spill out everything out!
I'm liking Kurosaki so far!

What the hell do you mean check if she's cheating??? If someone is saying they are cheating and there's no obvious tone indicating otherwise, of course he's gonna believe it and leave her. There's no point in reconfirming whether she loved him or not coz at the end of the day, she "cheated" in his mind and she never says otherwise even 4 months later.
He never demeans anyone, he just says what he knows is true and leaves them alone, she said she cheated on her, he says that to the rest of the class. He doesnt like what the maid girl has become, so obviously he voiced his discontent and leaves as he doesnt like the service anymore. He doesnt like what the junior was doing, so of course he said clearly to her what he felt. In fact HE was being demeaned.
And how is it his fault that he was being demeaned (to the point I would say sort of bullying) by the girls coz he was a wimp? It doesn't give them the right to do any of that shit. No way in hell should anyone bully someone just cause they can. You seem to think that people deserve the right to bully/harass certain wimpy people, sounds like you love seeing stories of people putting down other people as you want to see yourself as better than others, but you just sound like an asshole.
"Shouldn't he check if they loved them?" Tf are you on about, if someone is constantly harassing me no matter they be a boy or girl, the only thing in my mind would be that they are a bully/harasser and there is zero indication given to him that the other two ever loved him.
Maybe be a little more realistic. Mid ass comment.

Kinda want to stop reading here cause I fear a trainwreck is approaching in the next chapters, and don't wanna ruin myself this sweet part

Cheeky girl. But Akane deserves to win for improving herself and becoming genuine and honest with him with her feelings. Girl really speedran mean girl to best girl in the span of one volume (I remember just one other story where a mean girl introduced in an unsympathetic light became the true heroine for the protagonist). TBF the bar for best girl in this manga is in hell and there's no real competition, so it's low hanging fruit for any girl who tries, like Akane.

If they do become an official couple (like this chapter suggests they will) he should not be visiting maid cafes by himself anymore, at all. So too bad for girl #3. Or better yet just visit as a couple so Ruriri can meet his new girlfriend too. :dogkek:

I am concerned about the pace of Yuuta's development, though. He says he trusts her now, so he should match that with his actions.

Then we have Yumi's telegraphed complete antagonist turn with those yandere eyes. She double downed last time so it seems she's going to go full-on (true) villainess on them.

"...My Yuu!?"
Reality check, your ex is not "yours" anymore. You dumped him, remember?

She treated him the best probably? Didn't see alotta maid but she degraded him like crazy. Girlfriend "cheated" on him for his attention. But the junior mostly just teased him(though it did kind of get out of hand sometimes). Regardless of all that she made an effort to fix their relationship. shes worthy

that's where the phrase "straw that broke the camels back" comes in, she was the one at the tipping point so got all the shit dumped on her
