Why was Nene's fate to die as a sacrifice, if she's not really related to that clan and is no more special then anyone else??

Furthermore, if Hanako knew the cause of her death, then he was basically bringing her to her own demise while destroying all the other mysteries and worsening the situation in school.

So it's either going to end soon on a sad note (am I the only one who thinks it's too anticlimactic?), or Nene will somehow try to reverse the situation (maybe with the help of other friends, as she herself will lose her powers)
