@Kiriha Rather than sage arts being outright the strongest, I think the fact that it lets you control "life force" means that they can extend their lifespan indefinitely, and so have more time to become stronger. It's like how the elves in LotR are so skilled and amazing in combat simply for living for eons and having nother else to do than sharpen their crafts.

Believe it or not among the reincarnated this cheat boy is actually the weakest among the four who reincarnated in that country including our MC, the only reincarnated weaker than him would be the guy who become king in neighboring country, but that is only because he completely immersed in his work as a king.
The other is strong enough to destroy army all by themselves, and to certain extent they used their cheat efficiently.
Well our Sage is still the strongest though, and his master strong enough to defeat all reincarnated at the same time.

What someone need to be able to train constantly for 500 years straight is a not just talent, it is resolve, conviction. Even in our world there are plenty genius but not like they all become big shots when they grow up.

I would be pretty damned disappointed if the author design MC's personality half assedly.

Someone who can keep his conviction to train for 500 years continously is definitely not sane if you think about it and it is just the kind of thing I like. I think MC's life purpose is surpassing his master and become the real strongest man in this world ( until he set his goal on the gods though ? ). He still have several thousand years training ahead

If Sansui live normally I bet he would still be successful in the future
