Eh… this villain hasn’t done enough yet for it to be a big cathartic moment for me. I mean, it’s evil enemy rapist #2826 who abused nameless background female character #61413. Like, there’s nothing personal with this villain. Yes she attacked Zane and hibana but any character could have done that. There was no reason for it to be her.
Though, granted there’s not much personal for any of the henchmen/one battle villains. I mean that one guy damn near turned Gloria’s heart to stone, but he was still really just a nameless 1 battle guy, even if he did say his name and give his backstory during the battle.
There’s very few villains in this series that challenge our heroes core beliefs, or challenge them in any way other than physical. There’s no magneto to professor x, no joker to Batman. Everyone is just rape monster, and they are easily replaced by the next rape monster.
The few exceptions:
1) misandrist glasses girl who had a crush on falka
2) Mashiro’s mind controlled dad
3) eventually, maybe the other human jinki that has a stalker crush on win
Those are the only times I can remember when our heroes had to fix come up with a method beyond “punch it harder.”
And…that’s it? Everything else is the same fight. Even the supreme commander is just a “rape guy” but with magical powers that made him win for once. He’s just a stronger version of the same thing.
I find Yomi’s more…extreme tendencies in this chapter…way more interesting than the villain’s comeuppance, which is why I want to see the translations. because I got weird translations from the image to text auto stuff and i want to see what actually is happening before i judge it.
For example, the name “Millie” kept popping up and…who is Millie? Is this autocorrecting Mashiro?
