The teachers are excellent, but I think it was a mistake for the author to create a bunch of influential people to help Aono; it was an exaggerated coincidence. The reporter would have been enough. There's the reporter, who, if I'm not mistaken, is a friend of the principal, an influential politician who was friends with his late father and saved a former politician who is still influential. Exaggerated coincidence.

The Staff, Vice Principal and Principal were more then enough! Kondo Sr NUKING his career and being made to fall on his sword does make sense as he is VISIBLY trying to cover everything up like an idiot because he isn't use to people not being enticed or intimidated into doing what he wants and so ruins himself! But some things are just abit much! I was okay with it staying grounded, namely the DESTRUCTION of the Soccer and Literature Clubs as they are kind of the major forces BEHIND everything involving Eiji Aono and the Bullying! The former being the BULLIES as they acted on Kondo's behalf, and the latter acting in the Club Manager's AKA the REAL MASTERMIND BEHIND ALL OF THIS behalf as well as their own accord as one girl in the club was in "kondo's little stable" and even SHE was quick to want to cut ties with him the second the hammer came down and her own future, prospects and reputation were at risk!

Honestly the Club Manager was the best at BEING the final antagonist behind it all then the whole Prime Minister and a political party nonesene as that got WAY far from the main story! Eiji old club sans two members turning on him made sense once your realize the Club Manager used Kondo and the Soccer Club as proxies, and it's sad in a way beyond the pettiness of her AND Kondo, all of this ONLY worked out because Eiji got a HARSH hard lesson and witness that Miyuki who he's known all his and her childhood was a FAR weaker person then he thought she was! Weak in that she could nor WOULDN'T resist temptation and taking the EASY ROUTE! As nothing was stopping her from going all the way with Eiji other then the man himself her inner woman put it straight, Kondo was EASY because he was OFFERING, it wasn't a mistake as she KNEW she was cheating, she isn't ignorant to it! Some in the comment section of the WN try to excuse her as a VICTIM of Kondo, but Kondo isn't a genius, it was ONLY EASY because all he had to say was a few nice smooth words and his "Victims" who are SUPPOSE to have a spine, have it turn to jelly as they do EVERYTHING he says, and turn on people they know, even LONG TIME COMPANIONS for a SHOT at a handsome guy. For the other girl she fell to RUIN once he was TIRED of her and now was left with a SHATTERED reputation, her confidence completely destroyed and trust issues, not like she was THAT sympathic as she was SHAMELESS in looking down on EVERYONE ELSE, most of all her own CF an OTAKU yet when SHE gets insulted, she can't handle it! Not like Kondo HID what he was well, his ACTIONS sure as hell "paint him as the scumbag he is despite the smoothtalking and acting so nice that she AND Miyuki both missed on purpose cause they CONVINCED themselves he wasn't that bad! At least Miyuki ACKNOWLEDGED she knew he was bad news but still clung to the belief he wasn't that BAD when really it just wasn't her TURN yet and she KNEW IT"

Just remember, teachers and principals (who are dealing with bullies and false accusations) are EXTREMELY RARE! It's really hard to find the teacher and principal like them. I was also bullied in the past, but my former teachers always thought that those bullies just 'teased' me.

So has the wn ended yet? Reading the comments, wondering if after the MC has completely forgotten Miyuki if it will end with her offing herself or a drug addicted prostitute on the streets lol.

Yeah, Mom is one of the best characters for several reasons. There will be a few great interactions she has with Ai.

No the WN has not ended but it's clearly in the end game. I can see it being easily stretched with wholesome sweet moments for at least 50+ more ch. The main plot, cheating and bullying is resolved almost completely.

As for Miyuki,she is pretty much a zombie now. All alone, only crying, hating what she did, and keeping herself barely alive. Everyone hates her, this includes her best friends and Mom. She will get expelled from school like everyone else who bullied Eiji. She knows her life is basically over and she can't do nothing about it. She isn't even allowed to apologize, everyone shot her down when she tried.
Her ch are depressing as f... I don't feel bad for her, but damn, it's not that easy to read anymore. Author doesn't hold back on making her suffer

just finished volume 1 of the light novel. its a good read, really good. i can tell now why the author won an award for it and even got a manga out of it. i dont doubt we will see an anime announcement fot it as well. its not really a revenge story, at least not from the perspective of the MC. its much more of a healing story and it really did bring me to tears while reading. i would recommend everyone who likes this manga to read even starting from the beginning. 10/10 im starting volume 2 right now.

Miyuki should be "deleted" by Eiji's mom next ch. Her confrontation with Ai and then Eiji should take a few more ch, hope we get them around ch 12-13. As for the school punishment for all of them, that should take a bit more of time... But the road up to it is great, trust

I was just re reading some parts yesterday and totally forgot about this one until i got to it again. The stupidity of this character is something else. By far the dumbest adult in the whole story

After reading the wn, I feel really bad for Miyuki (sp?). I know she's a fuck up, and does deserve some retribution. However, holy fuck.

Same, out of everyone who wronged Eiji, she was the only one who never had any malice for him from the point where he was falsely accused of bullying (yes she let Kondo take a picture of her bruise and naively believed he wouldn't misuse it to unjustly destroy Eiji's reputation, but she was just too stupid, but that doesn't mean she had any hate for Eiji.

In fact, it's the opposite, she still loved him in her heart and held him more dearly than Kondo (even though she's a disloyal woman whose body's desires don't match what her heart wants. Her heart wants Eiji but due to the circumstances she herself created when she allowed herself to be seduced and opened her legs for Kondo, her current position is that of a woman who takes the easy way out of ostracization she experiences by allowing that same fucker who ruined her life to continue to take advantage of her body and use her as a cumrag, all because she wants to drown her pain in the pleasure and intimacy of sex instead of facing the consequences with more integrity and refusing to repeat her earlier mistakes and actually acting as a woman of character going forward).

But still, she's the only one out of the antagonists in this manga who continues to feel all the guilt without making excuses to herself for how badly she fucked up. She knows she had an absolute sweetheart of a man in Eiji by her side, and she knows how stupid, dumb, and easy/slutty of a girl she was for choosing that asshole Kondo over him, and allowing him to take all of her firsts, which she acknowledges should've been reserved for Eiji and no one else. She continually curses, verbally abuses, and insults herself for her mistakes, figuratively stabbing herself in the gut over and over again, alone in the darkness of her home. Hell, even when she could no longer stand her own tormented guilt, and wanted to jump from the school rooftop to kill herself, wanting to deserve the same circumstances that corner Eiji because of how she betrayed him by her own actions, literally everyone (Ai, the teachers, etc) guilt trip her even more by saying that she doesn't deserve to take the easy way out and hurt Eiji even more with her death. Even the talks about what she can do to make up for her mistakes aren't even given any focus really, the narrative treats her like the devil of all earth who simply can never be redeemed.

This series as a whole especially seems to say that redemption isn't possible at all, not only for the real bad guys with malice (Kondo, etc, which I'd agree with), but also for those who were tricked by them into falling in with them, even if it was due to their own navietè (Miyuki). Even after her attempted suicide, she's not really given any proper support or counseling. At some point, my wish to see her experience some pain at seeing the man she loved and betrayed, Eiji, achieve happiness in the arms of another girl who was as pretty/prettier than her was overshadowed by my wish for her to finally be given a break, and some much needed, proper consolation, and maybe even a little bit of affection (from someone like Eiji's mom or her own mom), seeing as she'd already suffered enough at that point. I wouldn't have been opposed to seeing Eiji's mom finally forgiving her to some extent, if nothing else then for the sake of Miyuki's own safety/mental heath, by virtue of Miyuki having been a sort of daughter figure to Eiji's mom for all these years and watching her grow up like her own daughter alongside Eiji, but instead of something even a fraction of merciful as that, she's basically hated and abandoned at every point with no path laid forward for redemption.

I wish this series burnt a bit more slowly, like maybe 2 or so chapters to build up the characters before knocking stuff down. Maybe start off with an ambiguous hook, the MC suddenly losing everything (without revealing too much) but then a flashback of better times. Build up likability of the ex-gf while dropping some subtle hints about her weak nature, make the villain seem less of a threat by presenting him as the friend character, introduce other characters like the teachers and family during that time. Less exposition and more showing. So then like when we get to the tense reveal, it almost becomes like a slasher film reveal or a spy thriller twist; imho the former makes more sense since its pretty much a slow motion murder attempt that we're viewing.

i agree too much coincidence make it feel unrealistic i know it is fiction and isnt meant to be realistic but i still think it would be better if MC solve the problem himself rather than rely on others

the WN isnt ended yet and Miyubitch got her actions exposed everyone hate her including her bestfriends,moms and she wanted to commit suicide too but got stopped by Ai to live to regret and suffer from her actions and about the mom she already knew Miyubitch cheated on him because she caught her with the mf holding hands together but she thought she and MC broke up and still being friend so she didnt say anything about it but after seeing him after the birthday she realize that they didnt break up but the bitch cheated on him instead
