They still both have their issues and it will linger yet, but in the moment wanting to save her is what saved him from wanting to jump, and wanting her to live is saving her from wanting to end it. It's like finding a reason to keep yourself alive even with the issues remaining, giving you time to deal with it.

Any small thing could get in the way and prevent it. Also, in this case, it's less about depression and more about coercion and Japanese social stigma being the cause.

I don't want to say this manga is realistic because it is an over-the-top revenge fantasy that might as well be an isekai. But some of the individual pieces could happen in reality, like a politician's son getting special treatment, rumors escalating out of control, or classmates siding with a cheating bitch over a soft boy.

I think she is the one that supported Miyuki without evidence. I thought it was the one from ch1 but her design was a bit different... But anyway, there is a female teacher that fucked up, so that has to be her.
As to what happens to her, if i remember correctly, she takes some time off faking illness, but the teacher and principal know what she did and will probably fire her. Maybe they already did, don't remember that detail...

To be fair, everyone that sided with Miyuki have been lied to, the second it's 100% CLEAR she lied, they all turn on her WITHOUT exception (even her female friend who kept harassing Eiji! She ESPECIALLY couldn't believe Miyuki would lie to her face and ALL she can say when confronted is "I'm sorry" as she only gets CAUGHT because the school calls in EVERYONE who was involved in the bullying. Miyuki could have still lied, but well you just have to see it) but you are right (Hell Kondo even THOUGHT the teacher was the type to cover shit up. He's likely USE to teachers, likely in his last school doing exactly that, of course it would catch a POS like him off guard because they're use to preferential treatment, just his MAJOR bad luck or you could say all his bad karma finally catching up to him.

you won't REALLY believe WHY this shit happened in the first place, Kondo is a POS but he never targeted Miyuki on his own, he was ENTICED and asked to by the Club Manager of Eiji's club, the one that PARIAH HIM that was the final straw that almost made him JUMP if not for Ai being there. This is all over JEALOUSY of his talent in writing compared to the Club Manager, who had INTIALLY tried to seduce him herself like Kondo did with Miyuki with plans to ruin him and destroy his creative spirit, but as you guess, it never went ANYWHERE and Eiji just let it go! It was only LUCK that Miyuki wasn't so strong willed or LOYAL as even SHE was shocked Miyuki was an "actual WEAKNESS that could be exploited!" She never thought she'd be that EASY of a woman, though Kondo did in his flashback note that that girls like Miyuki and "his last conquest" tend to "be fakers trying so hard to be liked and respected that all he has to do is validate them and show them a PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE" and they stupidly throw it ALL AWAY, just to be horrified that he never loved or liked them and while a dick, like he told those two idiots in this chapter "they never HAD to do ANYTHING for him. Which he is right about, they did that stupid shit that would ruin their futures if caught which WILL happen of their own volition. Still won't save HIM as an instigator, but he in no way FORCED them to do anything! It's why I LOVED when the Captain of the Soccer team got called out and PUNISHED for allowing Kondo to act as he did instead of REPORTING his behavior and actions manipulating many in the club! The guy tried the bull the "I did nothing wrong" but as the leader, he should have done EVERYTHING he could to get Kondo under control or failure of that OUT of the Club, but he didn't because "it would be troublesome" so by his neglect, Kondo used the club like they were his minions for hire and in essence made them LARGELY his accomplish

Thing is NO ONE saw it coming on the end of Eiji's mother and ESPECIALLY Miyuki's mother who PUSHED the releationship as well having known Eiji as long as Ms. Aono knew Miyuki Going into Spoilers But I'll end it with Eiji said NOTHING, his mom had to find out on her own, (All Eiji's family is, is his mother and brother, for Miyuki it's ONLY her mother, Eiji OBVIOUSLY kept distance from Miyuki and then the bully campaign against him because Kondo started rumors against him happened, Miyuki never signed off on that, but she never corrected or STOPPED it! With even "the evidence" against Eiji being something she SO EAGERLY let Kondo take a pic of, ACTUALLY BELIEVING he would if Eiji confronted him again "use it to scare him off" and NOT "use it to push a lie that Eiji assaulted her! But then she is the QUEEN of bad ideas, starting from when she FOOLISHLY let herself get "smooth talked" so easily)

Suffice to say Miyuki mother is HORRIFIED as Kondo is EXACTLY a carbon copy OF MIYUKI'S DEADBEAT FATHER who used her and abandoned them both, she thought with Eiji watching over her and Miyuki's reputation, she was SAFE from these types, only to learn the hard way that her daughter was a naive TWAT in the same vein SHE WAS with the girl's father! Difference is she never was with anyone so Miyuki was TEN TIMES WORSE! Her father was the MAJOR REASON she and her mother had so much hardship till they met the Aono's! And Miyuki in one fell swoop destroyed it ALL that she STILL can't admit she did it all under the belief it was a nothing burger that wouldn't cause this much damage as let me say this, SHE thought she was the one TAKING ADVANTAGE OF KONDO! SHE thought she would just "mess around" and then part ways with Kondo once she and Eiji graduated with Eiji NEVER FINDING OUT! You know the CLASSIC Cheater "I did nothing wrong, it was a MISTAKE, you weren't suppose to find out" which indicates a part of them KNEW it would be OVER if they got caught so the "Messing around and it meant nothing" was just their excuse TO THEMSELVES to convince themselves to do it! And it ALL blew up in their face and at NO POINT does she say anything, hence I feel BAD for her mother since the poor woman never even KNEW the two broke up....because Miyuki REFUSED to acknowledge the breakup, hence calling Ai a "homewrecker" because she STILL hasn't come to terms . Don't worry though, Kondo is NICE ENOUGH to tell her to her freaking face what a dumbass she is for a "little Ms. I had a GREAT chance to end up in a first rate university, yet a scumbag like Kondo can EASILY convince me to lie to my love ones and cheat on the man I SUPPOSELY claimed to love!" No wonder he has such a low opinion of girls like her. When they so EASILY fall for his flatter and DON'T push him away DESPITE being with someone and let him take all their FIRSTS! They prove to him his world view....sucks for him LOL he doesn't get out of this un-scaved either, but really I can't feel SORRY for his PREY for easily falling for his words when you KNOW a small part of their brain and common sense REALIZED something was up, yet STUPIDLY still did what he wanted!

Edit to add, about Kondo admitting to her face, it was more over the phone, Remember the guy in the last chapter, the OTAKU who's childhood friend was stolen from him by Kondo, yeah he is the one to bring it all down on Kondo, basically he is STILL with that girl, keeping her around as a "Friend's with benefits" sadly the girl turned into a PICK ME who clung to Kondo like a needy hanger on, the fucker has her and Miyuki's names on his phone as "Plaything #1 & 2" funny part of it is, Endo (the name of the Otaku) took a GOOD picture of Eri with a bracelet Miyuki GIFTED Kondo, while Miyuki's picture had her with a Necklace Eri gave to Kondo in Junior High, the point when she broke Endo's heart and destroyed her relationship. Yeah ALL their friends were DONE with her after what she pulled, Endo thinks they all cut HIM off when he pushed them away, only life got tougher so they had to focus on that, but ALWAYS care about him and wished they had the time, as he realizes HE pushed them away, yet it's TELLING they care about him even back then to current times, while Eri is completely forgotten, Eri's parents even DISOWNED her as she's BARELY surviving, basically she gets her REVENGE against Kondo as she FINALLY stops seeing him as "a host she has to stick to or she will be alone" to the scumbag who lead her down the path of destruction, she planned to kill herself, but not before she ruined HIM before she went. Luckily Eri and Endo are FINALLY able to talk to each other and make peace. Believe me ENDO hated her ass, she even mentioned seeing him in High School after her DUMPING and thinking he might forgive her only to see his glare as he passed her by CONFIRMING to her she lost everyone, so clung to a man who NEVER HID he cheated on her, it's why she FINALLY got it in her head that Kondo was the bane of her existence, seeing the necklace FINALLY showed her that Kondo ALWAYS saw her as a joke, and she was the CLOWN for believing he wasn't 100% rotten. Endo's revenge was to save Eiki by BRINGING ALL INVOLVED DOWN! Destroy the Soccer Club for protecting, enabling and helping Kondo so he has ZERO allies, Reveal to Eri and Miyuki he two timed THEM so he can't cling to them, he didn't CARE how Miyuki felt, in his mind she was as ROTTEN as Eri was for doing that to his dear friend and boyfriend, a man who SAVED him from his own isolation and closing everyone off, THIS is why he acted, he HATED himself for not DOING anything about Kondo till he did what he did to Eiji.

He took a photo of Miyuki and Kondo at a love hotel SKIPPING SCHOOL and then reported them, Miyuki's mother finds out two fold, first abit from Ms.Aono and then Miyuki tried to LIE and say she was with Eiji only for her to SHUT THAT SHIT DOWN ON THE SPOT and reveal Ms. Aono told her they were broken up, so all Miyuki accomplished is CONFIRMING to her mother she is an unrepentant liar! One thing that will piss you off, is when the Teacher interogates her AND Kondo before this, the two STICK to the lie, but different account! Miyuki claiming she and Eiji were "seperated" and the ARM grabbing, and Kondo so NARC that he tries to present himself as a HERO, Claim he laid no hand on Eiji, insult the poor guy again, AND Miyuki told him that Eiji was creeepy and stalking her and she wanted to break up! Teacher is sad with Miyuki sticking to her lie, meaning when it's all over she will go down with Kondo, and Kondo it's LAUGHABLE that the moron CAN'T keep to a PERSONALITY TYPE with his lying, first acting like a HERO, then acting like he did nothing wrong, then INSULTING then trying to "Suggest" he "not let it get out as it would RUIN the school reputation" and walking out THINKING he was in full control when he was NOT, worse for him, which is funny, someone DID catch the attack on video! A Food Streamer who saw the whole thing, which CLEARLY shows Kondo attacking Eiji, and Miyuki standing back, saying nothing then ABANDONING Eiji with Kondo! Which 100% contradicts their stories and is PURE EVIDENCE! Teacher AND Ms. Aono get the video and at that point, it's the beginning of the end, lets just say Kondo for all his BRAVADO is a coward true and true, when he THINKS he's in control, he is a POS, when so much as the POLICE stop in front of him to ASK A QUESTION, he fucking FLEES, abandoning Miyuki to save his own skin and falls on his face like a FOOL. So when Eiji and Ai end up helping an old man who had a heart attack and this is REVEALED along with the ASSAULT, it 100% starts DESTROYING the lie Kondo pushed and Miyuki INFLAMED, beginning the END for them both! As said, starting off the announcement that the ASSAULT happened with no names reminds everyone of the lie against Eiji, but then ENDING IT with Eiji receiving a REWARD from the Fire Department for what he did for the old man makes it CLEAR that the ASSAULT happened, but it wasn't him, which can only mean well find out for yourself! I'm done ranting, go find the WN or wait LOL

The Mastermind BEHIND Kondo's action's

Yeah I get how you feel and the story DOES give equal focus to their growing relationship. But it seems to be SLOW CRAWLING the Karma towards Kondo and Miyuki as well as ANYONE who directly sided with them (by that I mean the PARTICIPATES to the BULLYING like defacing Eiji's Desk and Miyuki's female friend who kept "confronting" him and YELLING OUT what was happening and even HELPING as the Desk thing only happened because she let them in his class and pointed it out, she did it out of a sense of "getting justice for Miyuki" and once the truth comes out, she's horrified, but at LEAST as she showed already, DOESN'T try to weasel her way out of her own hand in HELPING

I will say what COULD have been written out was how all of this leads to an Entire Corrupt Party and if I remember PRIME FUCKING MINISTER getting taken down! That I would agree should have been written out, I don't CARE if all of that is apart of Ai's backstory! It's still abit silly! I was okay with KONDO's father being a MIDDLE OF THE ROAD Politician as it at least gives you an idea on HOW Kondo has been getting away with his actions enough to THINK he was invincible and Middle of the Road means he DOES have political power enough to cover shit up, but not all powerful that this behavior DIDN'T finally bite him in the ass! as you'd think higher ups would CURB this type of CAREER RUINING behavior Kondo showed QUICKLY instead of HOPING like Kondo did in this chapter that others would be so focused on their reputations they'd cover it all up and protect him via that as they'd be smoke screening his involvement and actions only to find out "he came to the WRONG school for that as it seems Miyuki and Eiji are the ONLY major thing school related he did since enrolling there and it backfired on them HARD! The problem with what you're asking is the two ARE Major Secondary characters, Miyuki (Ex) and Kondo (NTR Bully) so you can't just WRITE them out of the story! The story is mostly going to be a THREE POV like structure going forward! One POV is on Eiji and Ai, the other is on the Staff and Princpal, and the third will be Kondo and on occasion Miyuki! The first is to SHOW how things are getting better for Eiji, the second is to show "what happens when adults ACTUALLY are fitting for the job they are in, and the third is to show just how things go BADLY for the two instigators as Miyuki is JUST AS MUCH an instigator as even SHE acknowledges if she had TURNED Kondo away from the start, had NOTHING to do with him. Eiji would NOT have been hurt as he NEVER would have FINALLY tried to find out what she was HIDING as "there never would have been a thing to hide" because SERIOUSLY! Your BF/Lover BIRTHDAY that you were ALWAYS a 100% Show on is the day you decide "yeah it's fine to cheat, he won't NOTIC" or NOT suspect Kondo of being a shithead for picking THAT DAY to have sex! Miyuki REALLY was thinking with her groin instead of her brain, and she FUCKING KNOWS IT! Happy her "Inner woman" is more her Conscience REFUSING to let her "play dumb" when she fucking knows. Hell at least she doesn't TRY to excuse losing ALL her friends and support when the truth comes out that she had a CHANCE to salvage but waited till the deadline for no good reason as by that point. Kondo LONG threw her away, called her a dumb bitch for falling for his shit and well acting the way she KNEW he was, but tried to lie to herself that he wasn't because she was THAT desperate to convince herself she didn't NUKE her PRISTINE Future for no good reason

Just remember, teachers and principals (who are dealing with bullies and false accusations) are EXTREMELY RARE! It's really hard to find the teacher and principal like them. I was also bullied in the past, but my former teachers always thought that those bullies just 'teased' me.

The teachers are excellent, but I think it was a mistake for the author to create a bunch of influential people to help Aono; it was an exaggerated coincidence. The reporter would have been enough. There's the reporter, who, if I'm not mistaken, is a friend of the principal, an influential politician who was friends with his late father and saved a former politician who is still influential. Exaggerated coincidence.
