Thank you for the chapter! I was keeping a bit of an eye out for puns with their names. Of course 8, who 8 his food, is named Ritz like the cracker. I've decided I like him. And then there's Fine Start, I assume? Fain Schtart, Fine Start, that's all I've got. No idea if those are even intentional, or if there are other puns.

Also LMAO, MC is definitely NOT impartial, but not for the reason you think. Remember, last chapter he only willingly helped the girls at first, and only helped the guy begrudgingly after he complained. He doesn't even favor all of his own team equally! Lol.

Now, I'm totally confused as to why each member got their respective number and is participating on the Shadow Council side. Members: 1-6, 8, 10-12, are the ones participating. I assume Sarah is either 7 or 9, and she obviously would not participate.

3, 4, 6, 8, and 12. Team 1
1, 2, 5, 10, and 11. Team 2

Doesn't look like a strict magic level organizing element.

The old #7 is the one who threw the poison dart things at Raius.

Based on her clothes, Char joined the Shadow Council as the new #7.

I don't think they've mentioned what happened to #7 in the meantime.

This leaves Sarah as #9.
