Reading this is very uncomfortable... but that's how you know it's good (it also has it's lighter moments, like any good work). IDK why the rating is so low, probably because of how uncomfortable this manga makes the reader feel.

I hope the story doesn't take any disappointing turns as people below are suggesting...

I wholeheartedly don't understand the appeal of this. The art style is subpar at best, with it almost looking like it's sketched compared to the artist's other works. The inner monologue of haru is very annoying as well, it detracts from the scenes that the audience is supposed to feel any semblance of pity for haru. Additionally, we don't even see her trying to get a job before going into sex work, and she obviously signs up voluntarily at the beginning of the LN, so the people telling others she was forced to sign up are obviously lying.

The critique of isekais on treating women is even more BS. There aren't really any isekais(good ones at least) that have a patriarchal and sexist world. Although isekai harems can get annoying, there are like so many isekais that don't suffer from this and are 1000x better than JK Haru(reincarnating as a slime, overlord, konosuba, tanya the evil, etc).

Stop trying to laud this manga as a new way of treating isekais, the concept may be interesting but the overall execution is lacking. Please stop reading terrible isekais and actually enjoy some good manga for once. The only reason to even continue it is either you were a fan of the LN(the second 1/2 of the light novel is terrible btw fight me) or you just want to read a good jack-off manga, in that case I can help you redirect you to a wonderful website that can do that better than mangadex.

P.S The author is a MALE who writes +18 erotic novels for MALES, he was trying to write a novel to appeal to FEMALES, but I will eat my words if there are more female fans of this than male fans

@willie, you don't read enough isekai if you say the setup of isekai isn't close to this one, you only quoted the "good" one

hmm... not sure what type of person thinks this is aimed at females... maybe you feel a little insecure seeing a non-perfect isekai? @Williesu

I will not say this is written well, but it is saved by a unique take. Let's say that this, like other poor yet unique manga, scratches an itch I never knew existed.

As painful as this starts out for some people to handle, the story takes a huge turn later that clears things up and "justifies" the parts of this most people are complaining about.
As far as the manga scanlations are right now, you're still just getting introduced to the setting and the characters... And Haru isn't quite the brat she appears to be. She's absolutely a bitch, but she's got some solid reasons for doing things the way she is after getting isekai'd into such a shitty setting.
Theres some hints here and there, but really you're much better off reading the novel if you dont want to stomach through this stuff as a manga. This whole learning about Haru and her setting phase is gonna take a while, and you gradually learn that she's not the ditz she acts like sometimes.

@vrido1 the second LN volume is almost exclusively side stories from the POV of secondary character that Haru meets, including Chiba. There's a tiny bit in there that's happening after the end of the first volume, but the story itself is done. So read it only if you're interested in Chiba's enlightenment and development into someone more tolerable and the opinion of all the other-world people on him, Haru and their antics.

@KatilTekir Yep. Looks like a nice enough open ending and the main questions are pretty much answered. Also, all the author seems to be doing right now is going twitter crazy about each manga chapter coming out.
@Harvester
Where did you get that awfulness after your "Buuuut" in the last spoiler tag from? There's nothing like it in the second LN or on the author's syosetsu page. The story ends with Haru coming back plus some silly extras about ramen and christmas.

@LookingForKeys You mean the part about

"Buuuut, Sheq later gets reincarnated to a profane, destitute, morally corrupt mother..."?

Check near the end of the first volume, at the very end of Spring Kiyori.

It's in that part where God visits Haru again: "'Uhhh, I think she'll be poor her whole life, and her morals and education strike me as particularly suspect. But Shequraso seems sure she'll be happy with her.'" ... So I ordered God to take responsibility and watch over Shequraso and that stupid mom of hers from now on. He did a nasty spit-take-- "BOO-HA!"-- and then said, "Sure, sure." Then he laughed at me again and left."

Sure, I used alternate terminology, but it's fairly close in meaning to what God said, at least.

LOL, so that's what it was. I don't know how I thought you were being judgemental there. Thanks for getting me to reread the last quarter or so. I guess that when looked at out of context - or with the context forgotten - that phrasing doesn't sound as funny as it is when reading the LN.

The only thing people enjoy out of this series is posting spoilers, i have to be honest.

Maybe if all of you are avid raw readers, go discuss where you find it instead of here?

On another side, this is a series for people who like stupid drama, be happy guys.

Ugh... there's a lot of hate for this manga. BUT I LOVE IT :((( I don't know, I think it because for me this is something new, most isekai I've read either revenge on being the villainous, being someone important daughter, being an OP lead, or being a villainous but choose a peaceful life. Not that those theme are bad, but if I were to compare it with this, this one has something fresh. The premise of it being a sex worker is new and I don't think Haru's monologue is annoying and take it from the substance, for me it's actually giving an insight of a sex worker

Lg Lissi XD
