Too bad earlier chapters are crapped up...I was going to read it all in one go but I guess not.

Ah...if only this manga is Seinen, that scumbag teacher won't be survive from harsh punishment.

I really liked this one. Too bad Wakaba took literally years to grew a spine. Honestly, she doesn't deserve to be a part of Haru's life.

Beyond that, I think everything worked just fine. I would have liked a bit more characterization for Wakaba's mother, though.

I wanted a more complete ending, and I’m glad there wasn’t a huge romantic component. Most manga implies everyone needs romance for a happy ending or some opposite extreme where they leave the country and go off to be a lone wolf. The ending here more focused on her sustained relationship with those who she grew to be family with. It was more natural. One thing though it seemed to imply loving mothers are not the norm but the exception and most manga implies the opposite. I don’t agree with either sentiment.

Hmm, a little flat perhaps. I was hoping the ending would be fleshed out just a little more. I would love to know what happened to everyone in the end. We only know that Kanzaki is still a teacher and is going to be promoted, but we don’t really know anything else. The ending is not satiating enough for me.

@Moodyz ah yes, it flew right over my head because I had no idea what you were talking about. My apologies for assuming you were asking something & trying to explain anything to you. I'm sure you're much smarter than I am for making such outside-the-box connections 😄

A happy ending, more or less. Kanzaki becomes a vice-principal and keeps in touch with Momoko. Haru has Momoko as his adoptive mom(oko). Wakaba looks to have gotten better. That leaves Momo's brother and of course Asakura as unresolved, although one imagines the brother is doing fine.

A decent work, although I'm left feeling like something was lacking to really make this memorable. Ah well, into the fleeting memory of songs and stories...

I honestly wish that the other teacher had come through and pushed Mr psycho off the bridge but I guess that’s not very good guy style lol! Love that Haru got to be with her in the end. thank you so much for sharing this!!❤️

I think wakaba stepping back from the role of being haru's mom and just being... let's go with like an aunt, is a good position. She can handle some interaction but she probably doesn't trust herself with full time care.

This could be seen as too short but it was fine. Each chapter was interesting. Kanzaki was the best character Imo.
Thank you for the translation

Kinda sad that the real mom just steped away that even her own son doesn't know who she is.

I mean, ya mc adopting haru is the best thing for both of them, but they could've kept the real mother close you know, glad she didn't kill herself after losing her son tho

So many people shitting on Wakaba. I just hope she interacts with Momoko more and some of Momoko rubs off on her.

That was really a good ending imo. I hope Wakaba will repent and treasure her son moving forward (of course with Tomoko)
