this is taking place in the old times, obviously this would be a problem if it took place in this time but it was actually normal back then for a young person to be in love/paired up with someone much older than them.
this chapter is WILD. Like way too much happened here. I feel like the grief & relief is almost brushed past with all the bonkers things that happened after the start. Anyway though, I really felt some kinda way when Johnny brought Gyro back and saved Sugar (whose 66 holy shit) and her family. I think back to like a chapter ago and how almost taken aback Gyro was when he saw that Johnny was about to sarcifice him for the corpse parts. It is even crazy to me that he did sacrifice what he fought for to save Gyro so promptly too. It really does leave a weird feeling, like they've got nothing left, but at least Gyro's still there. Seriously though, everything that's happened really makes them seem broke as shit in a really sad way now. Its just like... ouch, that hurts. It is kind of nice though. The whole point of Sugar Mountain is to not be greedy above all else. Don't be greedy and you may get something better, it seems like. It's like she said, one who is willing to lose it all may win it all.

Now onto all of THAT. Shit, things are turning insane. Like, again, it went from grief & relief to soft core porn. Like, please, this is way too much to handle Araki. This shit is seriously so unexpected- but wait, how did Lucy find out that the First Lady swings that way? Gosh, it's crazy. This might've been a little funnier and all that if Lucy wasn't, ya know, and if she didn't look like she hates what she's getting into so much right now. I think it's safe to assume that she's still 'pure' for the most part. I actually dont 'feel' like Steel is anything more than a husband to her in name, so seeing her going so far is a little sad, especially since it's mostly for his sake. Tbh, her love for Steel is very confusing and hard to understand, but it's easy to see that she wouldn't want to be with anyone else, especially not the First Lady who shes basically gonna use to infiltrate the White House.
