I’ve been rereading Part 7, and it occurred to me that the first time we see the equivalent exchange isn’t in Part 8, but rather at the end of Part 7 with “Ticket to Ride” creating that area around that girl that essentially causes harm to be randomly redirected to another person.
It sounds like the rokkakka fruit is a rougher version of that, in that it can only redirect a harm in the body to another part of the body.
We also know that Johnny brought Christ’s corpse to Morioh, so what are the chances that the rokkakka fruit is connected to that?
And then you have Josuke’s Stand that also has vaguely defined features but seems to also be connected. His Stand is capable of equivalent exchange in some manner, like removing eyesight, removing friction from a floor, and even in removing hair from his face and placing it on other people.
