This ending feels like if DBZ ended in the Namek saga, with everything after Goku going super sayian taking ten minutes to occur. It was a great series and Gege should be proud of the majority of it but there's too much left unresolved to not have a "JJK Shippuden" follow up. This ending is just, whelming.

[Disney ending for Gojo in my delulu world]

Gota (Yuta in gojo's body) was teleported to Shoko when Kenjaku's CT stopped working and their brains were swapped back in their own bodies. Since Rika was using RCT to sustain Yuta's body, Gojo's brain was unaffected too. When Gojo's brain went back in his body, his body used RCT to recover itself like when he was stabbed by Toji and Shoko used RCT on him too so he was able to overcome the situation and came back alive. Before the battle with Sukuna, (Yuji's flashback time) he decides to detach from sorcerer society and live like Tsukumo if he manages to survive. This is why he told Yuji to carry on his dreams. He asked Shoko to keep it secret that he's alive and handed the letters for Megumi and Nobara. As Gege hates Gojo and Gojo is no longer involved in sorcerer society, Gege didn't bother to tell us that he's alive.

I hope anime version won't include any tomb or something.. It'd ruin my delulu disney ending :'(

This series went to shit since the blood and oil character.
What’s even the point of the culling game?
What’s even the point of random american troops?
What’s the point of nobara coming back?
How did everyone survive but gojo ?
Thats excluding the mickeymouse eh whatever ending for sukuna, random yuta in gojo body moments, yuji domain unanswered, megumi potential still never proven, uraume whole fight got one frame,…. Brother do not know anything when it comes to world building

This was a pretty good ending, seriously. The issue is we all wish there were around 20 more chapters right before this final one. But I won't complain, none of us know in which state Mr. Akutami is right around now, I mean we all know Togashi never recovered from Yu Yu Hakusho, I think I can live with this ending.

Of all the bad shounen manga endings I've seen, this one is the most bland ending I've read. This manga also can't stop giving villains 'happy' endings for some reason; the one eye dude getting praised, brain dude laughing to death, and now sakuna? What the fuck is this bullshit bruh

Although there are quite a few flaws, I really enjoyed this series, as well as the several lobotomies I have had waiting for each next chapter. The art in the beginning is also really wholesome. Call me a Gege glazer, but I am grateful that this series even got finished knowing how badly he wanted to already be done with it. It is a lot of effort to make chapters every week. I am excited to see what other work he will make... Though I really wish there was a funeral chapter or that their grief was shown. That's my main issue with this ending.

...Ok now I am ready for my eternal lobotomy with endless break week

  • I'll keep repeating it. Shimetsukaiyuu is NOT a f*cking game. It means "death migration". There is no reward except staying alive. Translators localize it into the "game" word because of Kenjaku's format, but the word itself is never about the game. There is only death migration and swimmers, not culling game and players.
  • What’s even the point of random american troops? To boost the energy needed for the ritual.
  • What’s the point of nobara coming back? Pretty late, I must agree, but she provides a long-range annoying attack to break Sukuna's pace.
  • Megumi potential still never proven? Wtf do you think Sukuna has been doing?

1. gojo coming back in the extras
2. gege forgot about the culling games merger apparently? its so weird sukuna didnt at least refuse to trigger it
3. who were those two chicks sukuna labeled as paths? was it the ice servant and the chick that possesed megumi's sisters body, so he was like... two people loved me and i could have settled down instead of going all revenge on the world?

What a ride this series was; definitely a ride worth taking, but I'll admit that the ending felt extremely calm - the calm not before but after the storm, dead silent while you look back at the damage.
Thanks for the the translations, it was fun!
