Gods, this had so much promise. I got to chapter 77 and i had to put it down. So many levels of dues ex machina from the author that it just stopped being a fun romp of revenge porn to just terrible levels of writing. Also, just WAY too much rape. So much rape. Like war-crimes geneva conventions of rape. It went from sort-of intelligent to just intelligible. I'm kind of angry I dumped so much of my time into this.

Currently at chapter 121, and I'm only going to try and catch up just because I got this far so I might as well. It started off with an interesting premise, but ultimately, it shares its fate with a lot of other manga where it really should have ended wayyyyyyyyy long ago. Along with that, there really isn't much substance to this story, the only thing it really does is try to shock the reader with gore and rape, especially the rape because jesus if a female character shows up in this story there's like a 90% chance that she's going to be raped and then killed. There are plenty of better manga about revenge out there, don't bother with this one.

Reading this after seeing parts of it on TikTok and was intrigued by the revenge plot of the story. But after its strong start in the first 10 chapters, it feels like another crappy torture/rape manga where somehow the adults turn a blind eye to everything and the boys have free reign to do whatever the fuck they want with their female counterparts. If anyone wants to read mangas where "bad guys getting what they deserve" , read "Brutal: Confessions of a Homicide Investigator" instead. This is just an absolute mess that somehow avoided cancellation because it somehow blew up online for its shock value.
AND SOMEONE ENLIGHTEN ME PLS, HOW THE FUCK IS THIS TARGETTING THE SHONEN GENRE. WHAT IS THE AUTHOR TRYING TO CONVEY TO BOYS, THAT ALL THIS IN THE MANGA IS GOOD TO DO IRL??

It may seem nonsensical, but every manga is stamped as shonen/seinen etc based solely off the magazine it's published in, not the actual content.

As for this manga, it's not trying to convey anything, it's just self insert revenge porn targeted at people who were bullied in school, only the author lacked the skills to draw an audience with anything but shock value and simply leaned into that, gaining a readership through the story equivalent of car crash rubbernecking.

There was an edit war when Chapter 141 came out (which is why it’s locked now) where a few people were removing/adding back the harem tag and I guess the tag was there before someone got a chance to remove it.

But like I said, the manga is what it is, you either like it or not, I wont judge you for that. I made my peace and dropped it years ago. But since I read like 95% only Harem mangas I saw this pop up from all the other mangas out there. So like in my very first post in this thread I was confused HOW and WHY the harem tag got tagged here.

Kinda funny how its easy to delude the definition of Harem by a single panel where two/three girls like the MC and its only happen once but the whole premise, like 99,9% is all about guru and other fucked up shit gets viewed as "Harem", but what happend in "Lust Geass" its not Netorare but "Drama". Man, I cannot for the life of me, understand why this manga is rated to highly. It's much like Akame ga Kill, just violence for violence's sake and to satiate sadists. It's basically violence pron, garnished with unneeded, excessive rape that keeps on escalating, to generate a new shock factor.
