Déjà vu, I've just been in this place before, higher on the street. And I know it's my time to go.

At least we get to see this epic fight scene twice I guess. :meguusmug:
Eta: Any volunteers?

Yeah, this one hit better. The other wasn’t bad, but it just doesn’t compare.

Ever so slightly better translation as far as readability goes.
Thanks for the chapter.

It feels like the other translation was better than this one. Maybe it's because I read the other one prior to reading this, or maybe it's because the line delivery was better in the other version. For example, the other one had the line, "It's pointless trying to explain things to ordinary minds," which does suggest that Eta is more intelligent than others. Whereas in this one, "No point talking to commoners,". Another example is when Akane asks, "him? who's him?" then Eta says, "He has a very great interest in you For the longest time." In contrast, the other translation puts it as, "He is a life form for more patience and fascinating than you," which answers the question better Again, this may just be because I read the other translation earlier than this, and English is not my first language either.
Anyway, Thanks for the translation

If I were to guess, that one is a more literal translation where this one is more localized. I imagine there will be people who prefer each style, and personally I prefer the former, but the latter does often seem more popular. To an extent that makes sense, since the point of localization is to adjust the product to make it more appealing to a specific audience. If English is not your first language, you may fall outside the audience that the changes are meant to appeal to.

Ah, that's the stuff. I had felt something was missing with the the other translation.

Even if the more meme-y stuff isn't a literal translation, it sure as hell feels appropriate for this series.
