I am yet to read this since I'm still catching up on others (been busy with life) but does this series feature the Valkyries from Mashu's doujin?
So far, no. However, Kagura's Floral Combat style is similar to the Fighting Flower style of the samurai lady in the doujin. If they are in fact, the same style, then the plot of KaguRai and the H-doujin might be taking place in the same universe, albeit not necessarily related.

Think this manga will ever go past suggestive? The art and character design genuinely amazing kinda feels untapped

There is already some suggestive elements - like Cattleya in swimsuits while bathing her dogs, not to mention the recent fanservice. So the possibility does exist.

Cattleya and Liona are very much inspired by the Valkyries. Cattleya herself is almost 1 to 1 and shares the name.

Okay, I've re-read the Mashu's H-doujin, and I believe the H-doujin was more of a prototype - an experimentation so to say, before Mashu finally released KaguRai.
