Okay, this is a HARD swerve from the web novel. In the novel they just get back to her room, she strips and starts taking his clothes off, then pukes when she accidentally grabs his dick, he pops up and goes "surprise motherfucker" and paralyzes her before doing his revenge monologue.

I couldn’t help but laugh at her when she found out that she was seducing and kissing a man got shocked and started puking on the floor then the MC stabbed her in the abdomen using the hidden poisoned knife in his shoe before she could reach her sword.

And she was being drugged by him with dangerous scents that nearby males will EAT her (really eating) and to prevent that, she must HAVE SEX with them which is the most hated one or she will be eaten by them.
Because of that, she was being forced to do it in order to save her skin but he knows that she wont survive no matter what she did since the effects (prevent being eaten) only lasted for few minutes and you really wont see it because of disturbing scene

@criver all characters are just plot device, litteraly everything that happen in the story is part of the plot.

Also i don't see how the old guy is a plot device when he is litteraly a filler character not in the novel who will not influence any future event.

@criver we kinda got that with the MC already, his role is more to fluff it up a bit and make the MC more righteous.

And if that's enough to be a plot device character, then every character ever is just a plot device.

@Hamin im pretty sure what most of us read was the webnovel rather than the LN but I could be wrong. Usually LN versions differ a bit from WN, and mangas pull from LN.

@BalrogDeMorgoth There are at least other aspects to other characters. This one had one purpose only and nothing else, nada. So I don't see how he's not a plot device when that was literally his only purpose. It's not so for all characters, but yes, the villainization of every living creature is stupid.
