this is one of the most disgusting pieces of literature that I have read.... it's both sickening to read, and quite interesting as well. This book ain't for everyone, and in fact, probably only a small percentage of people would like the grimdark story that is this piece. Now let me say this, it is just the thing for the people sick bastards or people who really just want to murder people... The MC sticks to his ideals, doesn't cross his code, doesn't do anything out of character which I will give props to the author.
This is a revenge story, a Grimdark one with some dramatized details... ok alot, but it's still a decent read. This story ain't for everyone, and if you don't read the tags and start complaining about it, then it's your fault for reading and not dropping the book then and there. Hell I was expecting to drop the book early when I saw the tags, but this story kept me gripped in and it's like a drug that keeps giving until you become numb to it. Now then back onto some bad parts, the world-building is meh, character development, is that food? The oh so gratifying revenge scenes? They are a little too much. The plot? You can probably find this type of story anywhere, but there are original standpoints, 1 a telling of a lesbian hero, 2 a male gay hero (yes I have to clarify), 3 alot of drugs (surprisingly not really seen all that much), 4 A hero that actually knows how to use their power in ways people don't think of because of their backward methodology in stories like these, 5 an mc that is of the harem making sort, and has a kink for revenge (his and others), that doesn't feel like it's been made by a hormonal child that's only thinking about how to make a big harem with lusty bitches.
. No, this Mc and the author actually use their grey matter and can make for a fairly decent read... a bit too graphic for my liking but... for the theme of the story... it works...
Closing point, READ THE TAGS YA NUMPTYS, the cover, synopsis, and tags all point towards a revenge story of a very dark setting, alone... maybe not the synopsis but when you read the tag then you realize something may be up... I'm gonna get so much heat for righting this review, but this story is worth at least 6/10 stars, and the reason it can't be higher is because of... differing perceptives. There are alot of things that could have been dealt better, and well
there's alot of things that could be done better, some situations and scenes could be dealt better, and tbh it's just repetitive... One good thing? There ain't 30 fuckin heroes that he has ta kill and make 100 or so chapters on one fight sequence, anyone who gets this will understand exactly what I'm talking about. And that's just about it, it's a decent read, alot of mistakes, and things that could have been handled differently storytelling wise, but may I point something out about this story since you made it here at the very end? This was originally made for Seinen, or to quote what I found on the internet,

Possible hormonal child that's very exaggerated and not at all realistic: (r***r***r*** Fuck Fuck Fuck, make a Chad that has a big harem and bitches to fulfill his lust(seriously if you want to read stories like that, go to web novel))

The fact that the everyone the MC gets close to and ain't in the harem, tends to be shown around quite a bit in the story and then murdered for shitty character development,

If you're a spineless whimp, who only interested lovey douby harem crap, you came to wrong manga, this no to love ru and sure as hell no do gooder hero. Who is as bland as dish soap.
No this a ruthless violent sadist mc and by god its fucking refreshing, instead of captain cucker save the day, we have this cruel anti hero, who goes to next level and it enjoyable.
If you want something happy sappy go elsewhere, If want somthing as violent as goblin slayer, I recommend this.

Ya know, it is smut, senselessly violent and it is shameless about it. But it is some damn good revenge porn for what it's worth.
With that said, I am interested in some of the plot points it brings up
, because they seem like they would be high payoff/high risk in story terms (easy to fuck up).

It's obvious that this is not your regular fantasy manga. It is purposely made to be this gruesome. But I think it's a little too much for me. I have read similiar stories and genres, and they appear to be more mild imo. This is for those of you who like that strong taste of fvked up (like the tags: gore, smut, etc)

i was thinking that dungeon seeker was the edgiest shit in this genre but this, wow, really edgy. So edgy that the events make me laugh instead of making me angry.
I stopped reading the novel in the part that to agree with some "contract" the second girl (the animal girl) in the harem needed to hold his dick lol.
I can't read this manga seriously after that.

Hilariously bad. I, for one, can't wait until the anime adaption. The salt will be legendary.
Anyway, I guess revenge porn mixed with grimderp. Extremely edgy but like Shadow the Hedgehog style; e.g. it gets edgy and then something ridiculous makes it hard to hate a thing.
Definitely not for everyone, it shits in every pot certain cliques hold sacred. Rape, race, slavery, you name it, it takes a fat diarrhea shit in it with glee. Doesn't have the decency to eat fiber, damn.
Gonna be real, like a fat chunk of the ideas in here, just dislike heavily the execution (heh pun.) Would rather the Healing ability be less goddamn broken, as every ability MC pulls out of his ass makes his sob story less believable. (Every time you heal someone you get their skills and abilities... fucking what!? You can AOE heal time itself? Oh wait, your heal ability is literally time manipulation. Nice.)
