thank god, hope this arc will be over soon. In other news, that sequence of Mina resisting showed some interesting stuff, like the kaiju dude likely being alive since ancient times, absorbing important people resisting the kaiju attacks. Also, kinda hard to care about Mina or her pet tiger since outside of a few flashbacks, nearly every interaction she's had with Kafka as an adult has her being an asshole towards him.

Good to know that Kafka did save her in time given the pace(lol) and I like that it does give a scope of insight as to how powerful Kaiju no. 9 (if anything it could be kaiju no. 0 given the different time periods from the clothing and the amount of people) but I'm wondering what prevented no.9 from just annihilating everything straight up (and if anything not absorb no .8).

Glad to see we're almost back. Hope the matchup can deliver too, with good pacing.
