I really dont like the trope of forcing the mc with a production job into being an active combatant, but overall i still really like this series, just hope it doesnt become a reoccuring thing, like having him be strong enough to hold his own is great, but would severly prefer if he himself was yknow doing his job and not fighting.

From what I remember of the LN, it doesn't really. The occasional thing (each different in circumstances), but it never changes the focus.
