I agree tbh, its kind of a shame it seems this went this direction.

either the MC is a SIMP and forgives her or she keeps it a secret from him. or maybe the more far-fetched option is the MC sees her with that guy and calls her out, breaks up and the marriage scene from the start of this is just he regretting things and she is having delusions of being married. XD
