Her father is kind of right, she deserves to fail and needs to change schools, this one is clearly an ill fit, and it's really all her fault. Playing the father up to be some kind of villain in this scenario is pretty lame, imo.

She says she always ends up doing what her father says, but she has never been showed trying to take the initiative without involving someone else.
