I feel like nonco just keeps “rivals” around for fan-service more than anything. Recurring theme has been MC getting put in compromising situations with other girls and then Kanan getting pissed.

It’s because nonco has been slowly introducing more and more characters that move focus off what was originally just Kanan and Kyougi romance. I don’t really mind though, everyone except the little sis duo has been fun to read.
