We’ve got a smooth criminal ladies and gentlemen. I figured as much, he isn’t as dense as people seem to think he is, especially when it comes to Kanan and how she’s feeling. Of course Kyougi would want to make sure she was happy on their first date, he knew the thing she loves most, food, would probably be the best way to cheer her up.

Especially if he fed her, which worked like a charm and perked her right up. Kanan’s surprisingly kind, refusing to even touch his soul until she figures out how she really feels says a lot about her values. Even if she doesn’t realize it, love is something she values greatly, even if she doesn’t understand the feeling yet, but she will one day soon, and when that day does come she’ll be capable of accepting her feelings more readily than she does now.
