I feel the same way, it's such a minor infraction that was even cleared up with her whole infodump and even mindreading into her actual thoughts and personality, but the psychopath is predisposed to villainy and he took to it like a fish to water. Mental illness goes hand in hand with that to smooth over the minor details and holding onto grudges beyond any reasonable capacity.
