Also because we both have nothing better to do besides read manga.I'm kind of baffled by this story. I can't tell what level of romcom reality we're on. The plot of him getting into minor drama because of an inside joke is the kind of thing that happens all the time in real life but rarely in fiction. Like how people in fiction don't stutter or meander while speaking casually the way we do in real life. It's too mundane and random for most fiction. So that makes me think this manga is trying for verisimilitude. But then other things feel like the opposite. The characters, their designs, their relationships, their personalities, they're 100% pure unfiltered romcom manga tropes. They're archetypes. To the point it feels like a ritual.
This manga is making me question how I spend my time. Why am I reading bad bad romantic comedies written for teenage boys?
The Drama Tag:Impossible.. Everyone is actually a good kids in this?
(dont jinx it, me!)
Reading the summaries for the first two LNs, it's definitely "drama" of the lower-case variety. The Drama Tag:
Oh thank god I was worried. And I prefer wholesome/fluff stuff anyways. Kinda makes me wonder why it's there then though?Reading the summaries for the first two LNs, it's definitely "drama" of the lower-case variety.
It's funny cause it's true.gifThe most unrealistic thing in this manga is that there's a girl busty enough to rest her breasts on the desk but is somehow invisible to high school boys.
Ain't no chance of this happening.
Good art is meant to make you feel like shit. Therefore bad art can be more soothing. That's the rationale I adopted, anywayI'm kind of baffled by this story.
