Me and my ex got into similar situation as Yuuta and Reina back when we were still dating. We drifted apart and got into a lot of small fights that got us bored of each other. In the chapter, Yuuta broke up with her and not saying anything why, so Reina probably thought that those small fights were the reason so she just took it that way. While it's true that she should've said something, Yuuta should have also been clear if "suspicion of cheating" was the reason. Reina was not emotionally available to argue about the small fights, it would've been different if cheating was the case

Nothing to tell. Even the latest Raws don't explain what truly happened with Reina yet. It's gonna get strung along until the mangaka can figure out what the actual plot is. That's usually the case with an overextended cliffhanger. I can see the mangaka struggling to come up with a storyboard that passes their Editor's sniff test - trying and failing, trying and failing. It's like the current cliffhanger on Aitsu no Kanojo. Literally that mangaka has no idea how to pull the series out from under the axe. These folks usually tend to write/draw themselves into a corner.

I feel the best step to take next for Yuuta is just to clear things up and move forward.
I don't think they need to get back together; they just need the proper closure and let this huge oversight become a significant hindsight in their lives - like a lesson-learned.

Maybe wasn't any cheating at all and it was some weird misunderstanding, I mean, who decides to cheat in front of her partner house? Dude didn't say anything about why they are breaking up, so maybe she just thought he got bored of her, or that he decided to leave her and get with his friend, the relationship had problems on both sides and no one is talking to the other about it, so each can have their own headcanon to why they are breaking up

Light Novel adaptation, there's nothing to 'come up with' and 'pass the sniff test', the story beats already exist and are well defined. The novel is already complete even, there's tons of spoilers in the comments of the previous chapters

Are you even sure that was the LN, if it was a "near complete TL" and neither come close to the mid point of where manga is, then it sounds more likely that was the WN instead (which is somewhat different from the LN and not completed), iirc this is around LN Vol.3 out of 8 Volumes + an After Story Volume (getting published on Oct 1st, but in all the LN is completed, after story gonna have 2 "what if")
