This really does feel like trench warfare. Every chapter a singular mile, a page a life lost. When will this war end?
Is this story happening like, 20 years ago?Renting porn dvds
Well I agree that sex is part of a healthy relationship, they're not in a relationship yet at best they had a bunch of fake dates that he paid her to go on, also he's not a teenager he's 21
1. I'll give you the fact that he doesn't see her as just a sexual object but its still like 90/100 at this point
2. Every character is a legal adult
3. The lack of self-confidence was established in chapter 1 and nothing has changed
4. Not trying to tear you down I just hate read this story cuz at this point its out of commitment to see this shit storm through
Hes not a teenager hes a college studentMan that was so cute seeing her glance when he mentioned the case wouldn't fit.
Also, all y'all aren't getting that Kazu isn't seeing her just as a sex object, but that sexual relations are a major part of a relationship, and he also is a teenage boy still, effectively? It's going to be on his mind a lot. Even then, he's constantly worrying about how she sees him, so it's not just that, either. What he needs is to learn some self-confidence and to stop freaking out so much.

I agree with you. He doesn’t see anyone as a sex object, he is just as human as everyone else. Ofc he would want to do things with someone he loves. Anyways another cute chapterMan that was so cute seeing her glance when he mentioned the case wouldn't fit.

EDIT: Since I've gotten no less than THREE people posting that can't read the word "effectively", one of which is after I posted in reply to the former two, I'll just post this link to my rebuttal of that statement and further response prematurely. I expect people not to read this section, but I'll at least have addressed it beforehand. https://forums.mangadex.org/threads...end-and-shopping-part-1.1241116/post-17342782
Dude this ain't that serious to where you gotta bring up scientific and historical research. Yes Kaz has shown "growth" since the start but the fact that nearly every single chapter is almost the same formula of anxiety induced simping spanning half the chapter, Kaz shitting on his own self worth, and ending with a picture of chizuru staring into space with an ominous cliffhanger tagline is pretty telling that character growth ain't a strong suit of this series. If you read this for the repetitive story beats, you're a part of a dying breed and hats off to you lolAs I said, "effectively", aka "what we usually think of as just teens being hormonal still applies". He's still mostly at the beck and call of his hormones settling down, as medical science has proven lasts until the late-to-mid-20's, or at least does these days (no idea if it's also in that range historically). This is part of why the whole "legal adult" distinction being some arbitrary age value has never worked that well, and it's been pushed up and up and up throughout history as more people have continued to live softer lives and never had to take responsibility or mature gradually as they have to be responsible for their lives. Some people see this as a positive; I do not.
The lack of self-confidence was established in chapter 1, yes, but to say nothing has changed is false as well. He has pushed himself forward a number of times and has gotten a lot better than where he was at when the series began, except when it comes to how Chihiro sees him, and that's because his life consisted of a lot more time spent away from her than interacting with her that was sped through from our perspective. He needs to stop idolizing her and start treating her like an actual person, which is why he has such bad nerves when it comes to thinking about or talking to her, so far, but that's something that takes a self-realization, one hopefully that will happen soon, much like how she changed in how she saw him.
The thing is, that this is basically Nagatoro but a) without the interest from the main female lead shown to the main male lead, b) with the complication of a prior paid-for relationship poisoning all interactions going forward, and c) with a lack of self-direction; Kaz has no idea what he's going to do, doesn't have anything lined up or any considerations for the future, and is otherwise drifting. Senpai from Nagatoro was exactly like Kaz is here, until he had that bit of self-realization, and he was able to get to that point because in Nagatoro there were none of those complications; Nagatoro showed interest in him, there was no prior relationship complications, let alone paying-for-fake-relationship complications, and he also knew he loved to paint, and Nagatoro supported him in that (which is what made him realize that she liked liked him and was showing it, and gained more confidence in his painting).Dude this ain't that serious to where you gotta bring up scientific and historical research. I'm not even gonna try and pretend I have anything positive to say on Nagatoro besides art style lmaoThe thing is, that this is basically Nagatoro but a) without the interest from the main female lead shown to the main male lead, b) with the complication of a prior paid-for relationship poisoning all interactions going forward, and c) with a lack of self-direction; Kaz has no idea what he's going to do, doesn't have anything lined up or any considerations for the future, and is otherwise drifting. So yeah, I just gave a big glow-up to Nagatoro, sure, but that's because it does the same kind of storyline, but with just a few small differences changing the outcomes entirely.
cute is correct. I get the people complaining about no character/plot development or w/e, but that's not why I read this. I read this for the kick of dopamineI agree with you.
