For revenge? Wtf is she on about? She wouldn't be using her status of "Saintess" for revenge😑. She'd be using it to save her KING... you know, the guy that's far more important to the country than his shitty, murderous son! The prince got rid of the person that made the king's medicine. Besides continually calling the prince a dumbass that makes dumbass decisions, they now have a clear motive for his actions: two birds, one stone. He could get rid of the saintess and the king, simply by banishing her. The only reason she hasn't gone after the prince is because of the writer's forced intervention to ensure she doesn't. Man... who doesn't dislike forced plots😮‍💨? Luckily, the rest of the story's good enough to look at this as nothing but an annoyance.

So, I was thinking about this before too. Does Mia become "evil" in her getting revenge on the country that sold off someone she cares very deeply about?

We know Philia would never endanger someone intentionally which is why she did mostly everything herself. To be fair, Philia was also an extremely powerful Saint so her dong things herself made sense. Mia is not as powerful as Philia so she can't do everything alone.

This chapter makes me afraid that Mia will resort to tactics that would be considered "evil" and while she is doing it for her sister that she loves very much, Philia may still not be able to accept it which could lead to a fight OR Mia turning into a villain for a bit.

I just want to see the prince come to justice for both selling off Philia as well as his plot to kill his own father and then Mia and Philia to be happy sisters over again. Mia has become such a great character because she is fleshed out and her mind is set on helping her sister that she adores and loves and loathes anyone who is mean to her sister.
Dong things?

Building giant gold statues to yourself never ends well.
Well obviously, gold is too soft and malleable to make anything of a decent size.
That outstretched arm would be pointing at the floor inside of a year, and that's just for starters.

Oh, you meant the malignant narcissism of it all?
Yeah, that's a pretty bad omen, too.

Well, we always knew that prince was a total bitch.

At this point, the king should really just disown him and appoint Mia as his successor or something for damage control.

-Tries to haste his father death
-Belittles women

Yep, he was behind getting rid of the King's medicine by eliminating Philia's prescription formula to make more medicine. This chapter is the second time the readers are reminded of the second Prince's meddling with the pharmacists.

the King did really fail as a father. To let his son grow up into this pile of uneducated garbage.

The prince is too stupid to understand any of that, so that kind of revenge would be impossible. Just report to the king what he is trying to do and let HIM handle the situation...

Thank you for the translation.

Page 30 made me realize why Mia felt so familiar. In Aa Megami-sama!, the character of Belldandy is a Goddess First Class. She is quite literally perfect. Her older sister, Urd, is a Goddess Second Class, even though she is arguable much more powerful. Unlike Belldandy, Urd is not a paragon, she will lie and cheat, hence the supposed reason she's still Second Class. At one point during the series, Urd has to recertify and passes with flying colors, but she doesn't want First Class. She points out that in the fight against demons, you want someone on your side that can do what she can do (and do what she doesn't want her perfect sister to do, someone who can get their hands dirty, basically). Mia is willing to get her hands dirty, to do things she doesn't want Philia to do.

well, if a saintes is to use her powers and title for the country, then using her title as saintes to get rid of the prince would be for the greater good for the country, thus it would align with her duties towards the country as a saintes.
and assassinating the prince only becomes a problem if theres any wittness to the deed, but they are currently in a perfect situation to get rid of him, something like:

"the saintes asked the prince to join her as support as she erects the barriers and the prince accepted, while in the woods however they encountered a large group of monsters, the prince in his cowardice pushed the saintes towards the monsters in a attempt to use her as a human shield as he himself cowerd behind the soldiers and ran away with most of them, the saintes and the few who remained fought desperately and won with no cassualties, the prince group which ran away however encountered another large group of monsters and was overran, the saintes desperately tried her best to catch up with the cowardly prince and his group of soldiers but was to late to save them, when she arrived they had all died."

What if the prince is secretly the smartest man alive?
Now wait hear me out, he not only has exposed multiple forms of corruption within both the government and government adjacent positions like the royal apothecaries. He lowers the country’s national power so their neighbors don’t begin to hold them in contempt. Has Philia sent out of the country as a soft power move that they have this powerful of a saint they don’t even need. Subtly pushing Mia to become a reformer that brings change to the kingdom’s corruption that he blatantly revealed. And he has pushed the king to a weaker position so that it will be easier to ask for assistance in cleaning the house.
In summation I believe that the prince may in fact be the smartest character in the series./s
Not gonna lie that hits way too close to home IRL rn... This is honestly how some people I know think of a certain orange pedo

oooooookay, now I can actually think of the scumbag prince as an actual character and not just a walking cliche. Taking away someone who could be more influentional than him and killing of the other obstacle for his ascension to the throne in the process is a proper motivation for this risky gamble. It doesn't make it any less stupid, but at least it's not just a plot device
