The story doesn't have any sense because is just the author fantasies of being Reika for very specific situations without any realistic or logic connection whatsoever... What a waste of potential for a good story....I think it's interesting that Goh isn't really trying to lie plausibly or come up with stories or anything... saying his parents are 80, offering an incoherent backstory, nothing. We don't really see too much of his inner monologue, but I guess he just figures the truth is so absurd that it doesn't really matter what he says?
Oku-sensei really going “Grok please draw pretty images of my waifu”The story doesn't have any sense because is just the author fantasies of being Reika for very specific situations without any realistic or logic connection whatsoever... What a waste of potential for a good story....
She sold them as her uncles and protectors? Still dunno ,with Oku's storytelling style, it's no surprised that the plot will be all over the place with many new characters/plotlines (I'm looking at you, Hen). However this manga stood out because of the premise about 6 old otakus, and it would become just another gen ben story if he lets go of that premise. That's why the recent chapters seem pretty weak to me.
However with how things are going now i don't think he could bring back those 5 old men and made them relevant. Maybe we will have more of Mako, but the rest seem almost like mobs now. Sure they will comeback to bring some troubles but in the end it might just be about Goh.
Either she think is a granddaughter ran away or her parents are so old and dinosaur minded that was figure of speechsaying his parents are 80, offering an incoherent backstory, nothing
