These monsters make me terribly sorry, I can imagine how frustrating it is for them not to be able to hit him.

At least it's not 100% stealth. All the AI would be broken and stand around doing nothing.

Author purposely made the protagonist stupid right .
He could say he was evasion healer with 100+ healing but I believe someone will ask him later on why he can heal so great why being so good on evasion.
50+ stats seem like really good.
You probably won't get much stats by level up usually I guess.

I'm don't recall the exact details since im too lazy to go back and check, but it makes more sense if you look at the actual stats listed.
There were a few "standard" base/sub stats that are missing in the GUI which forces evasion to be more useful or folded in.
In DnD you have AC which is your defense dexterity(This one modifies evasion, but not is to be confused with the evasion feat) dice roll, and so forth smooshed together instead of checking to see if you evade THEN checking to see if it goes past your armour.
There's also the fact that moving out of the way of aoe, eg running from a bomb, is evasion IRL. If you think of it that way it makes perfect sense that he'd be able to avoid AOE because the game logic of not being able to is what was actually nonsensical.

I don't have issues with him being able to avoid attacks, i will not question it. I have an issues with his character altogether.
1) He is "supposedly gamer" and one of the tops as well. Then his "agi-build" already goes against most of the "gamer basics". Even if he want to experiment things, he did it way too fast without thinking, there is no way that "supposedly gamer" will do that.
2) Seeing how efficient evasion is, i 100% sure that if he had all those skill-points in defense instead, he would be even more efficent, especially because even if something UBER-powerfull can scratch him, his regeneration spell will heal it faster than he receive damage.
So, for that point, his character sheet is already gimped, and it's only ok for him, because he had ungodly 150 points at lvl 1.
3) His face is so punchable and his cocky smile so disgusting. It's really rare case when i want to punch MC more than that fat king and his cohorts.
4) As a "supposedly gamer", he should know how parties created. It's ok that he is trying gimped build for entartainment, but he should be aware how everyone else will see it, and will just not take a risk to try it together with you. The way how he tell everyone that he is "evasion healer", when nobody even asking him is disgusting. I blame mangaka for this, but WN probably the same, so the original autor is to blame too.
Gamers have tons of ways to not disclose info about their builds, or atleast say something to divert attention.
I understand that if not all of this bullshit, it wouldn't be a story... but atleast don't make it like he had a plan, and it worked. No! He is stupid, he fucked up, and luckily his life still somehow doable. That's the manga about the idiot that "pointed finger at the sky", and luckily his choice didn't turned into immediate death.

@Med1um He actually thought it through quite a bit. Check ch.1, he knew healers are mostly for healing, not tanking. He went with evasion over defense to save his healing for allies. Regarding party composition, they just have different opinions. Everyone expects healers to dump all points into healing, nothing else. If they actually knew his Recovery stat, they'd love him. So, he is pretty dumb for not just saying 'Healer', with a ridiculous heal-stat.😀

@Med1um First, it was not random since he actually had a thought-process. Second, just because you don't agree doesn't mean it's not "gamer-like". Third, he was expecting to party up with a 'Hero' and a 'Wizard' and knew nothing about potential limits to his healing, like mana etc.. So saving your healing for allies is actually pretty damn smart.

"lets keep going until i get hit" ... WTF. You get hit with no defense stat and no protective gear, you'll be a stain on the floor in one hit! Can't wait for an AoE attack to shred him. No logic in this manga.

@GrimGriefer Agreed. Even one swipe from the bear looks enough to kill him 15 times over. He was lucky that none of the monsters in that dungeon managed to even graze him, or it would've been an instant game over.

What if evasion doesn't trump magic? Like, it's super good in lowbie/physical areas, but for anyone who wants to go end game it's a dump stat since the Lich in the fifth dungeon will soul-fry agi tanks.

Yeah...I'm usually tolerant of Isekais, but this MC is kind of jackass. The way he acts is kinda just...obnoxious.
There's the matter with not hiding his evasion build because he just absolutely has to advocate it, but even alone, he's just sorta in a loop of acting cowardly/sensible, finding his evasion works, then getting all smug about it afterwards. I think the fundamental issue is that he's treating this world like a game while everyone else is treating it as life or death.
There's also the fact that he hasn't seemed to realize (and I wouldn't put past the story to have reality side with him) that if a monster is strong enough to break a 51 evasion barrier, they're probably strong enough to kill him in one blow.
The premise of the story is interesting, but I sure wish it was some other guy that played the MC.
