They're in the middle of the demon continent and they're still worried about the Piznut soldiers? Couldn't they just...not go back to Piznut? And what country allows enemy soldiers to just wander about and do as they please?

Imho this had a shoddy start with MC being dense but it's gotten better.

It keeps getting worse. The hooded cloak was working too well, for some reason, so they decided to take it off and declare where they were... Too difficult to think of how to introduce new issues related to the king so just let him know where they are through a stupid move. Genius level writing.
