Well, theres still a lot about them in the sequel. But this series is still ongoing so theres no telling when will be the ending point.
But im not so sure if will follow then to high school since will definitely change the atmosphere so it could end when they become a couple as middle schoolers. I bet in the latter, but theres some time before that for sure... he might decide to confess after his 1st win lol

Tbh, is not the 1st time we see the almighty Takagi also being owned by her own lack of courage.
Instead we see Nishikata getting more and more sincere at the speed of light. Also, for some reason ive expected him to have some inferiority complex going after realizing his feelings. But i mean, Takagi barely pay that much attention to anyone else so would be bizarre for him to not have some confidence.
Im so glad things progressed this fast lately. Loved to see Takagi getting this flustered in front of him.
