Hypothetically this is a decently fun idea, but the scanlation isn't all that great, and there's some real storytelling blunders in the setup. For example, they want the protagonist to secretly play the princess. As in: nobody is supposed to know. So what do they do?
Go into a public slave auction, full of shady people, and publicly buy the dude because he happens to look like the princess. Not only that, but they use their absolutely most famous person (aside from King and Queen presumably) to do so, while wearing his official armor and all that, and having him overpay on top so that absolutely everybody will absolutely certainly remember.
Realistically it'd take about 5 minutes for there to be rumor that the princess is now just an impostor, and this ignores other questions (like why the hell are there at just THIS auction that JUST happens to coincidentally have a personal that coincidentally looks exactly like the princess ...).

Likely yes. One of the authors of this is also an author of Survival of a Sword King.
Or maybe somehow related? Regardless, definitely the same Universe.
