Nice seeing an antagonist that isn't some 1-dimensional villain that will have meltdown as soon as he get beaten by the MC, but a genuine skilled fighter that wants the Order to uphold it's high quality so he challenges the MC to a fair fight to see if he's the real deal or not and is honorable enough to admit defeat when he realize the gap between his and MC's skill.

To be fair though he's seen that MC is faster then him then proceeds to do a move that makes him incredibly vulnerable if slower so still a bad choice to do either way.

The spin move is wild, I guess it only works for him because it will always work at least once as he catches his opponent off guard and due to his strength just blasting through any possible defense.
