I appreciate when author develop smart villain/antagonist characters, this dude has a nice design, is smart enough to not cause ruckus on the city while performing illicit activities under the radar, he's also strong and well prepared to deal with magicians and even close combat fighters, in any other kind of work he'd be a major villain easy peazy, he's just unlucky that he's facing the strongest swordman and mage of the kingdom, maybe of the world?
