maybe I will put this manga on hold for a while.

I can't take it reading a heroine with a past lover. So, I'm waiting for the future chapter for an accurate explanation for this.

man, the angel next door really gives me a double-take regarding how to evaluate a good waifu material or not.

We still have no idea about it whether Ri-kun is actually her past target or not.
The other theory is MC is the target since beginning and the heroine wants this Ri-kun apartement. She just went gung-ho and destroyed him without warning so she kinda feels "bad" about it and decided to warn Edano in advance.

It's quite obvious that, like a couple other ppl have said, when she says she feels sorry for ri-kun and not giving a warning that time, that this call is her warning for this girl, meaning that she killed him so she could have his apartment. Yanderes don't just accidentally show up to the wrong apartment they be damn meticulous. Also the junior doesn't have a clue who ri-kun is and doesn't refer to him at all, saying what do you mean when given the story as an example. So basically, main girl offed the neighbour ri-kun without threatening him and is now threatening to off the junior
