Sure, but as they say, out of sight out of mind. As long as she does all the creepy/brutal stuff off-screen, we could still suspend our disbelief and treat it as a gag.

The usual pattern in stories like that, I believe, is for Ikuto-san to be charged with all the crimes of a runaway yandere because the government will conveniently see him as an accomplice at least (and maybe even as the mastermind).

i mean in the case she somehow gets arrested she prolly wouldn't let that happen or admit all guilt/basically say that she was stalking him even if it was tech his fault

tho even without the 'yandere' aspect the 'coworker' acting cunning/sly seems like he could've messed up his life sooner or later in the 'normal' way a lot of messy exes do lol

But i don't think other than some one shots, the author's other 'darker' series have ended so we don't know if they'd prefer messed up endings versus something bittersweet/working out for the yandere versus her being properly going through justice

I guess there is the 'bathing together' romcom but that's more fanservice and stuff i guess than any yandere undertones

As scary as this series might seem it's also a bit unrealistic. If I were the girl I would have screamed out loud the moment I noticed someone behind me, much less a lifted hammer. The MC would have awoken from that. Secondly, filing a missing persons report. Third, security footage in an apartment complex of someone dragging another person out.
