People made mistakes and becoming an irredeemable piece of garbage? Lame, boring, uninspired.

People made mistakes, learnt from it and moved on?
Invigorating, refreshing, innovative, peak cinema, inspiring...

Yeah, this ending is bad as it is unrealistic as hell.
Author thinks that a simple new love will let you get over the trauma of the old one - especially in this case? When heavy family matters are involved and when imuoto has such mental issues as shown in previous chapters.

Not only that new love will not function for long but this whole family will never be same again as both her parents and brother knows what happened in the past. At best she will never see them again, and brother probably got a good schooling from his wife when he returned home so he will most probably never see her again as well.

Sadly, these kind of stories never get realistic ending. Most realistic one I have read is Yosuga no Sora or little imuoto manga where brother and sister live together as unmarried couple and that's it as in this society that is the best they can do.

This ending... as wholesome as it wants to be... is an slap in the face to everyone who read it.
Absolutely agree. And the Tragedy tag is for how tragic her new-found love would probably be from the guy's perspective when he learns about her past. People fail to realize that it wasn't just any relationship - it was an incestuos and extremely toxic relationship she had in the past. Changing your hairstyle on a whim ain't gonna change that. These things live with you till the day you die (or so I have been told).

It's joever 😭 fml I'm the one feeling cucked watching her interact with this... lowborn, boorish, savage cur instead of her brother, as the divinely-given right of all siblings should be. Keep the bloodline pure!

Jest aside, daym what even can the afterstory tell? Is it cooking? Burnt the steak? Imma find out

Honestly... I'm happy with this ending lol, I liked this series as it treated the content a little seriously, not turning it into humorous hornybait(I like hornybait but I also like the serious stuff). What do you do if your sister is acting suicidal like that, obviously he shouldn't have fallen in the first place however he was trying to fix it. I'm glad it ended with her moving past her self destructive tendency. She truly loved her brother. She knew that he couldn't be with her, his mind wouldn't take it, and if she committed suicide he likely would have as well eventually. Her suffering was sad but it's what you have to do sometimes when you love someone. And eventually the wounds heal or at least scab over. Love the series 9/10

This was extremely lame. I'm used to "crazy" manga dropping the ball on the last chapter but this was the worst offender so far

Personally, if it was this manga situation, I'd say it's permissible since she was a child and therefore didn't know or could give informed consent about sex with her brother.

It's probably the big brother who's the actual villain here (even for the wincest crowd).
It's statutory rape. Consent does not matter.

Well, this wasn't the ending I, or i think anyone expected... or tbh wanted :aquadrink:

I'm kinda surprised, it's been awhile since i was last disappointed in a series ending :shamihuh:

no Imouto-Onii-chan ending, no tragic love ending, just a rejection and a 'and then she moved on'
and she moved onto the first person to ask her out??

Forgot to add this when i first posted, but if you want to read an actually decent incest series then i recommend [Siscon Ani to Brocon Imouto ga Shoujiki ni Nattara]
although it has been awhile since i read it, so it might not be as good as i remember
Jesus...I remembered this.

Most right?

If you truly believe that then your morales are fucked.

An innocent naive boy is going to have his life ruined... it's a forest gump situation lmao. (just not a whore, but just as damaged and manipulative)

If you wanted a "most right" ending, should end with her in a therapist office.
Why will the life of this naive boy be ruined? He loves her, and she likes him. Maybe later, she will grow to love him, but if not, it wouldn’t be so hurtful since she didn’t give him much hope. She understands what it’s like to love someone who doesn’t love you back that way. There’s no need for therapy since she and her brother solved their problems by themselves. Her affection for her brother—she let it go. Yes, she did terrible things because of her obsessive feelings toward her brother, but it’s gone now; she understands that wasn’t right.

Forrest Gump had another situation. He loved a really misunderstood, broken person, and it hurt him but also hurt her. She had many boyfriends before him, but that doesn’t mean she was a whore since she didn’t cheat on him or them. Later, when she finally stayed with Gump, she understood that she didn’t want to be a burden for him but still needed him, so she became pregnant with his child and left. She didn’t want to bother him with herself or the child, but when illness started taking over, she told Forrest the truth so their child could at least have a father when she was gone.

Well the thing is this:

Onii-san while it translates to "older brother", it actually means "young man" or essentially "bro".

Onii-chan is what literally means Older brother.

i.e. if it was Onii-san then this wouldn't have the incest tag.
A little sister would call her older brother 'Onii-chan', while a outsider could call him 'onii-san' without problems in my sight, calling someone with '-chan' is as well a childish way, but you can use with a girl you are close with or you are a senior.
