I was one of the people who originally gave this a rating of 10 to counteract all the wincest-haters that were hate-bombing it with 1's early on. However with this shameful ending, I feel it has rightfully earned a 1 now.

I would like to discourage others from reading something that will only be stringing them along to deliver disappointment in the end.

Yeah, this ending is bad as it is unrealistic as hell.
Author thinks that a simple new love will let you get over the trauma of the old one - especially in this case? When heavy family matters are involved and when imuoto has such mental issues as shown in previous chapters.

Not only that new love will not function for long but this whole family will never be same again as both her parents and brother knows what happened in the past. At best she will never see them again, and brother probably got a good schooling from his wife when he returned home so he will most probably never see her again as well.

Sadly, these kind of stories never get realistic ending. Most realistic one I have read is Yosuga no Sora or little imuoto manga where brother and sister live together as unmarried couple and that's it as in this society that is the best they can do.

This ending... as wholesome as it wants to be... is an slap in the face to everyone who read it.

Well, this wasn't the ending I, or i think anyone expected... or tbh wanted

I'm kinda surprised, it's been awhile since i was last disappointed in a series ending

no Imouto-Onii-chan ending, no tragic love ending, just a rejection and a 'and then she moved on'
and she moved onto the first person to ask her out??

Yup couldn't quite put it into words but that is exactly it.
I'm at the point where I think the ending would have been better if she actually did commit suicide whether shortly after he abandoned her or after she meets him and says she is relieved she didn't ruin his life.
If the author wants to have her move on he needs to build up to it, it can't be some random schmuck who "reminds me of myself"

Salutations. Good stuff, glad to have followed this manga. Bold like few. And I actually liked the ending, growing through -and alongside- the remnant pain.

She just needs to get together with this new dude, find out where her brother lives, drug him and his wife, get his baby and say it's from the new dude. Have her repeat that once or twice. Have the new guy find out. New guy tells brother, brother says, "Arrivederci", imoutou gets depressed and says "arrivederci" too and everyone related to them get PTSD.
Say no to happy endings. Bring trauma to the readers!

It would be a really memorable ending. Not in a good way, but you probably wouldn't forget about it any time soon. Though, I guess this ending does the same thing to anyone rooting for the little sister. I still remember being ultra salty with how the anime Golden Time ended. I wanted the second female lead to be happy, but MC chose the protagonist (and I saw the anime around 10 years ago... so imagine how salty I was that I still remember it )
