This situation is looking like a Gently guide the child where you'd like them to be (Chie) vs Force the child into a mold that you want them to be in (Asemi). My assumption is that Asemi is just so behind the news that she's still prejudice against Kaya and hopefully that's it, or oh boy both Chie and Kaya will have some work cut out for them.

As for Mirai, yup she got away with it just like that, she should be thanking god that most of those involved are in the Ebisumori, otherwise we would have the tragedy tag on this.

For half the chapter I thought they upped the tension because this was supposed to be the teacher who got swapped with a mirror ghost in chapter 21. I wonder if that will ever be brought back up again.

Forgot to make a note about the baby's name, Shizuku: her name could be a combination of her dad's name Shizuo and the number 9 (Kyū/Ku), something like 靜九 in Kanji, which could imply that she will have powers like Kaya.
It's written in Katakana only as of this chapter so I'm just speculating.
But hey, that's just a theory......
