Considering how shit this whole thing has become, I dont blame the translator for dropping this. Why would the publisher even serialized this to begin with? I can understand if this is an original manga, but no, this thing is a WN adaptation. Did the Japanese really enjoyed this to the point they would serialized it?

You wont see much more humans getting killed for a LONG time. ( other then a pair of guys in the start of the next arc that he kills to save someone)
After this it becomes a happy go lucky monster girl waifu collector story with cooking and kingdom building elements.
Ofc if thats not your thing, by all means drop it.

Everything up to this point was just to give the MC a sad backstory and a reason for him being OP.

The rest of the story is nothing like the stuff we have seen so far.
i would love to say it gets better, but that's subjective and since the story does a 180 and changes theme i can't really do that.
Its not a bad story, but it's poorly written and the author had no idea what he wanted to do when he wrote it as he writes himself into a corner multiple times.

overall, i would say a 4-6/10 depending on if you like this type of manga it becomes.
its not bad, but it's not great either....

no really, this arc made like zero sense in all aspects, even makes you feel like some pages were missing and explanations ended half-way before making proper sense, and I'm saying that while having nothing against the 180 turn of events and some half-assed drama

I don't mind the light hearted fantasy adventure being dark but my problem is mostly to do with the lack of build up towards it.

It just comes out of nowhere and everyone dies.

Another major problem is that after this it becomes a typical cliche harem instead of continuing on this edgeyness which further makes this scene even more dumb

@Lukosang21 Starting now? No, not worth it. Just read the 2-3 next chapters when they come out and you will understand how bad it became. I read plenty of isekai, lot of styles, but it's one of the few that I stopped reading. (The other I stopped reading were mostly because too vulgar (celebrating rape and cuckoldry))

Also, for those seeing the dark scene: in 2-3 chapters, it will be forgotten. It's one of the reason I found it so bad: we start with everyday stories; we get a dark and edgy side for a few chapters; and then the happy go lucky OP MC. It changes the styles like we change shirts.
